Here are their advantages from each other:
ASUS Zenfone 4 Max (ZE554KL)
+ Dual rear cameras
+ Larger battery
+ Android 7.1.1 out of the box
+ Better screen resolution
+ Higher Megapixel value of the rear camera.
As we can see, both smartphones have the same CPU, GPU which means that both will have an almost identical performance. However, not all performances are reliant to just the CPU and GPU. Even though the Zenfone 4 Max only has a 720p resolution and the Zenfone 3 Max 5.5, if we check its overall battery life, it can easily surpass the Zenfone 3 Max 5.5’s battery life especially it has a 5000mAh battery and an Android 7.1.1 Nougat OS which provides more battery optimization. For its cameras, the Zenfone 4 Max has a dual 13MP rear camera (main + 120° wide-angle).
Even though the Zenfone 3 Max 5.5 has a higher rear camera resolution, the quality of photos will not always on megapixel count. ASUS did a good job in upgrading their cameras by adding a wide-angle rear camera on the Zenfone 4 Max. If we could measure both phones’ overall performance, if you are a screen resolution-type of a person, you can still choose the ASUS Zenfone 3 Max 5.5. However, if you are for a much better battery life and dual rear cameras, then we suggest that you go for the ASUS Zenfone 4 Max.
The ASUS Zenfone 4 Max is priced at Php9,995, while the ASUS Zenfone 3 Max 5.5 is at Php8,594.10 (see price listing here).
If you were to be asked, which smartphone would you would you prefer?
The camera of the 4 max is not both 13 megapixel shpoter one is 13 and the wide angle lens has only 5 megapixel and has only one led flash while the 3 max has 16 megapixel dual led flash and laser auto focus. :)
