ASUS is getting serious in the selfie game with the release of the ZenFone 4 Selfie Pro – the more powerful variant of the ZenFone 4 Selfie. It packs a sleeker and more premium body, power efficient Snapdragon 625 processor, 4GB RAM, and dual front cameras consisting of 24MP + 5MP sensors. Check out our first impressions below.
The first time we saw the ZenFone 4 Selfie Pro, it immediately reminded us of the ZenFone 3 Deluxe, well, from the backside. It has a slim metal unibody that tapers towards the chamfered edges, which blends well with the front’s 2.5D glass. Measuring 6.85mm thin, the device feels streamlined.
Like the ZenFone 4/Pro siblings, the ZenFone 4 Selfie Pro packs a 5.5-inch Full HD AMOLED display on the front. Compared to its sibling the ZenFone 4 Selfie, it has a different front camera placement as the 24MP + 5MP cameras are placed on the right of the earpiece, while on the left are the LED flash and sensor.
Below is the fixed Home button/Fingerprint scanner, with the backlit capacitive keys for the Back and Recent apps placed on its left and right-hand sides.
On the right are the metallic volume and power/lock keys, while on the left is the SIM/microSD card tray.
Up top is a microphone, while down at the bottom is the headset port, microphone, microUSB port, and loudspeaker.
Flip it on its back and you will find the 16MP main shooter, LED flash, and a couple of antenna bands at the top and bottom.
Overall, the ZenFone 4 Selfie Pro is an eye-catching device. Add to that the nice color options that also screams premium – Deepsea Black, Sunlight Gold, and Rouge Red.
