Best smartphones in the Philippines under PHP 15K (March 2019)

We’re just three months into 2019, and we already see plenty of new smartphones. And it’s not only flagship devices, as we’re also getting great offerings in the mid-range category with price tags under PHP 15K. So if you’re planning to upgrade and on a budget, let us present you with these choices.

Vivo V11i (6GB + 64GB)

First up is the new configuration of the Vivo V11i now with 6GB of RAM and 64GB of storage. At PHP 14,999, It may be the most expensive in the list, but it has the largest RAM to offer. As an alternative, you can also pick the 4GB + 128GB variant for PHP 13,999.

Samsung Galaxy A30 (4GB + 64GB)

The Samsung Galaxy A30 launched alongside the Galaxy A50. It sports a 6.4-inch screen, Exynos 7904 chipset, 16MP + 5MP dual rear cameras, 16MP front camera, and 4,000mAh battery. You can purchase the Galaxy A30 for PHP 13,990.

Xiaomi Redmi Note 7 (4GB + 128GB)

One of the hottest smartphones right now is the Redmi Note 7. A lot of Filipino consumers were looking for this phone when it launched in China, and when it finally arrived, it didn’t disappoint. The specs alone are impressive with its 6.3-inch screen, Snapdragon 660, 48MP + 5MP dual rear cameras, 13MP front camera, and 4,000mAh battery. It comes in three configurations with the top-of-the-line model (4GB + 128GB, making it the device with the highest storage capacity on the list) only priced at PHP 11,490. If you’re looking for the 4GB + 64GB model, it’s available for PHP 9,990, while the 3GB + 32GB is available for PHP 7,990.

Samsung Galaxy M20 (3GB + 32GB)

Samsung is on a roll this quarter by releasing multiple devices, with two of them making this list. The Galaxy M20 sports a 6.3-inch screen, an Exynos 7904 like the A30, 13MP + 5MP dual rear cameras, 8MP front camera, and a massive 5,000mAh battery. You can buy the Galaxy M20 for PHP 10,990.

OPPO A7 (3GB + 64GB)

OPPO released the A7 in November 2018, but just this month, they released the 3GB RAM model at a more affordable price of PHP 10,990. It sports a 6.2-inch screen, Snapdragon 450 chipset, 13MP + 2MP dual rear cameras, 16MP front camera, and a 4,230mAh battery. If you’re looking for the 4GB RAM model, you can get it for PHP 13,990.

Huawei Y7 Pro 2019 (3GB + 32GB)

We’re now going sub-PHP 10K and of the devices that fit the budget is the Y7 Pro 2019. It has a 6.26-inch screen, Snapdragon 450 chipset, 13MP + 2MP dual-rear cameras, 16MP front camera, and a 4,000mAh battery. You can buy the Y7 Pro 2019 for PHP 9,990.

Honor 10 Lite (3GB + 64GB)

Honor launched the 10 Lite in the Philippines in January. It features a 6.21-inch screen, Kirin 710 chipset, 13MP + 2MP dual-rear cameras, 24MP front camera, and a 3,400mAh battery. It was initially priced at PHP 10,990 for the 3GB + 64GB model and PHP 9,990 for the 3GB + 32GB. But two months later, they lowered the price by PHP 1K. The 3GB + 64GB now costs PHP 9,990 while the 3GB + 32GB is at PHP 8,990. Hey, we’re not complaining.

Realme 3 (4GB + 64GB)

The Realme 3 is also one of the best bang-for-the-buck smartphones right now. It features a 6.22-inch screen, Helio P60 chipset, 13MP + 2MP dual-rear cameras, 13MP front camera, and a 4,230mAh battery. It comes in three models with the top-of-the-line 4GB + 64GB priced at only PHP 9,990.

hi louie, i’m one of the avid readers here, everytime me new review about mobile phones. i do agree that realme 3 is bang-for-the-buck. mas mabilis sya kesa redmi note7 and look for the pricing, both merong flaws, convince ako ni realme3, looking to buy one.

How can you say that the Realme 3 is the best bang-for-the-buck smartphone right now? Redmi note 7 also have a 4GB + 64GB variant also price at PHP 9,990. with better SOC, FHD screen, usb type-c and so on..
