BlackBerry Curve 9360 lands, priced at Php16,990

Been getting several inquiries regarding the BlackBerry Curve 9360 that are being sold in some stores in the last couple of days. It turns out the stores already got the first batch of the Curve 9360. RIM has finally announced the official release today.

The suggested retail price — Php16,990. It’s a bit higher than what we originally expected.

BlackBerry Curve 9360
2.44″ display @ 480×360 pixel
800MHz processor
512MB of RAM
512MB internal storage
up to 32GB microSD
HSDPA 7.2Mbps
WiFi 802.11 b/g
5MP camera with LED flash
VGA video recording
NFC support
Bluetooth 2.1 w/ A2DP
GPS w/ aGPS support
BlackBerry OS 7.0
Li-Ion 1,000mAh battery

In any case, I think you can get it from online stores at a much lower price. We spotted one before at eBay at Php15,300 so I’m thinking the street prices will play along the range of Php15k. And that means the old Curve and the Curve 3G will have to drop their prices as well.

  1. It’d be better if the official price is not higher than Php15k. Though, at least, it’s not that expensive.

  7. It’s not that I don’t like blackberry, I think I’m just getting practical. I think it’s now worth the money. And most of my friends told me they’re getting bb for status symbol lang. ahe. peace out.

  8. Ayayay.. the website doesn’t say anything about a front-facing camera..
    Uh-oh….

  9. We spotted one before at eBay at Php15,300 so I thinking the street prices will play along the range of Php15k. —- sir yuga may typo error ka yata haha xD just saying. ;-)

Grabe yung price ang mahal. Mas gugustuhin ko pang bumili na lang ng SE Xperia Ray, HTC chacha, or htc wildfire s. ;-)

  10. Phew! a phone with that price ?? konti nlng i can buy a Sony Xperia play.. Think abt it…
