BlackBerry DTEK60 now official

BlackBerry has finally made official its latest Android smartphone hardened with the company’s security software – the DTEK60.

The DTEK60 is the company’s follow-up to the DTEK50 announced last July. Like the DTEK50, the DTEK60 is manufactured by TCL but equipped with BlackBerry’s security software.

    If this phone was released by TCL without Blackberry software, this will only cost somewhere around 17-18K.

    I love Blackberry but they are too proud a company to survive their current situation. They are irrelevant these days but they still want to jack up the prices simoly because this phone have the “mighty” Blackberry name and their vaunted security software.

    Sony, HTC, Blackberry… swallow your pride and lower the price of your flagships sigificantly below Apple and Samsung.

    i wish they can start at an “entry” price range, kasi ang dating nito, magpapakilala ulit sila market… ang mahirap lang kasi with this kind of phones are “protection accessories”. we all want protective films and cases for our phone.. specially at this price point =D
