Cherry Mobile Amethyst, dual-core with 3G for Php2,299

Cherry Mobile has just released a new super-budget dual-SIM Android smartphone that packs a 3.5-inch display, 3G connectivity, dual-core CPU, and Android Jellybean for Php2,299 – the Cherry Mobile Amethyst.

Looks like CM is banking on the Php700 difference against the better equipped Cherry Mobile Life which costs Php2,999.

Specs are incomplete though as Cherry Mobile didn’t disclose its RAM and battery capacity. However, some comments on CM’s Facebook Page were pointing to 256MB RAM and 1,200mAh battery. We’ll update this post as soon as we get complete specs.

mas ok ang cloudfone brand 3000mah – 4000mah ang battery capacity. parehas lng ng specs at price starting P2500 3G na.. pang heavy duty talaga.. hindi mayat maya ay charge. nkkabwisit kc pag mga 1200mah lng capacity ng battery..

ok ang phone nato wag maniniwala sa mga asungot na nag comment sa itaas mabilis 3.5G ang connection compare sa ibng phones na 2000 ang halaga mas mag eenjoy kayo dto

Nagsisi ako na binili ko to kasi 3 days palang ito nabagsak ko itong phone nato nasira kaagad sira yung switch daw sabi sa service center

wala paring kwenta to, yung battery lumiit nagiging 1200mah from 1300mah nalang yung camera naging 2mp from 3mp
tapos lumaki ang price 3g lang na dagdag….wee
dapat di nila binawasan ang spec kasi tumaas ang price….what a wrong strategy

walang kwentang phone yan at diff P700.00 mag life ka na lang eh 5mp auto focus na sya may front cam at may GPS pa, sayang lang pera natin dyan kung 2000 lang yan pwede pa cguro.

Decent enough phone for basic calling texting and social apps at tulad ng sabi ng ibang comments pwede rin nga pala 3g mobile wifi hotspot sa oras ng pangangailangan kesa bumili pa ng expensive hotspot only gadget. Games are hit n miss, some works, most dont ex candy crush. Sa halagang 2300 madami na nagagawa yan, talo pa ang galaxy y/pocket/ace…

Wag na kayong magreklamo. Yung iba nga bumibili pa ng 3G Mobile Wifi at that price. Sa ganito, may 3G Mobile Wifi ka na, pwede ka pa mag ebook at text/calls. Kung di rin lang naman multitasking ang habol, pwede na yan.
