Cherry Mobile Amethyst, dual-core with 3G for Php2,299

Cherry Mobile has just released a new super-budget dual-SIM Android smartphone that packs a 3.5-inch display, 3G connectivity, dual-core CPU, and Android Jellybean for Php2,299USD 39INR 3,321EUR 37CNY 285 – the Cherry Mobile Amethyst.

Looks like CM is banking on the Php700USD 12INR 1,011EUR 11CNY 87 difference against the better equipped Cherry Mobile Life which costs Php2,999USD 51INR 4,332EUR 49CNY 372.

Specs are incomplete though as Cherry Mobile didn’t disclose its RAM and battery capacity. However, some comments on CM’s Facebook Page were pointing to 256MB RAM and 1,200mAh battery. We’ll update this post as soon as we get complete specs.

Wag na kayong magreklamo. Yung iba nga bumibili pa ng 3G Mobile Wifi at that price. Sa ganito, may 3G Mobile Wifi ka na, pwede ka pa mag ebook at text/calls. Kung di rin lang naman multitasking ang habol, pwede na yan.

Kanya kanyang gimmick, kanya kanyang function yan. Magreklamo kayo ng ayon sa presyo.

Decent enough phone for basic calling texting and social apps at tulad ng sabi ng ibang comments pwede rin nga pala 3g mobile wifi hotspot sa oras ng pangangailangan kesa bumili pa ng expensive hotspot only gadget. Games are hit n miss, some works, most dont ex candy crush. Sa halagang 2300 madami na nagagawa yan, talo pa ang galaxy y/pocket/ace…

walang kwentang phone yan at diff P700.00 mag life ka na lang eh 5mp auto focus na sya may front cam at may GPS pa, sayang lang pera natin dyan kung 2000 lang yan pwede pa cguro.
