Cherry Mobile has a new budget smartphone that features a 4-inch display, quad-core CPU, and Android Marshmallow – the Desire R7 mini.

The Desire R7 mini is one of the newest members of the Cherry Mobile’s Desire lineup. It sports a 4-inch IPS display, 4GB storage which can be expanded via microSD up to 32GB, 5MP fear camera, 2MP front camera, dual-SIM and 3G connectivity. Powering it is a quad-core CPU clocked at 1.3GHz, 512MB RAM, 1,500mAh battery, and Android 6.0 Marshmallow.
Based on the specs, the Desire R7 mini is not going to wow a lot of users but the Php2,299USD 39INR 3,321EUR 37CNY 285 price tag would be attractive to those who are looking for a budget device that somehow resembles an iPhone 5.

Xperia XA only has 2GB RAM for 10k, which is quite low. Same goes with the J5 Prime. If you can get an iPhone 6 for 10k, then go. What I’m using for the past 8 months is the Cloudfone Next which has Snapdragon 430 [decent enough for gaming and good battery life], 4GB RAM, and Quick charge 3.
