okey yung nabili kong q6i. dual sim with tv radio etc. pero ang nagagamit kong feature lagi ay yung mp3 player na up to 8gb (micro SD). the only problem i have ay lagi kong binubuksan yung case kapag nagpapalit ako ng micro SD kasi nasa loob ang lagayan ng micro SD at marami akong micro SD na ginagamit kasi i have more than 10000 mp3 songs na collection. kakainis yung laging bukas ng bukas ng case hanggang sa lumuwag na yung case nya pero di naman nasira. nabili ko ito ng 2,700 lang yata. sana mas okey kung ang lagayan ng memory nasa gilid lang ng phone para hindi bukas ng bukas.

Mga 1 week at naghang siya tuwing magttxt ako then may warranty naman siya. Last na ibinigay ko cellfone ko sa inbucks philcoa qc ay december pa at under repair daw sa kanilang head office sa manila. Until now hindi ko pa nakukuha at naka 5 times na balik na ako at di na mabilang na follow up thru phone.

Bumili ako ng Cherry Mobile Phone Q300 Trident sa Baguio City SM noong December 25, 2010. Maramiu akong nakitang defects at mahabang salaysayin kung isulat ko pa. Noong April 23, 2011, wala ng power totally, dead na talaga. Dinala ko sa QSL sa Dagupan City na kung saan nabasa ko sa internet na Service Center nila pero tinanggihan ma-check nang tumanggi akong magbayad sa sinisingil nilang 500 pesos ay sinabihan ako na dalhin na lang sa SM Baguio City. Pagdating ko sa Baguio City ay itinuro ako sa Pearl Tower sa Manila. Pagdating doon sa kanilang Service Center sa Manila, sinabihan ako na mag-follow up ako after one week. Nang magfollow-up ako, sinabihan ako na WALA SILANG AVAILABLE na parts para ipalit sa nasirang part. Nang tanungin ko kung kelan ako magfollow up sinabihan ako na tawagan na lang daw nila ako kung ayos na. PAANO KAYA NILA MAAYOS ANG PHONE KUNG WALA NAMAN SILANG AVAILABLE NA PARTS? SEGURO GAGAWA PA SILA NG PART NA IPAPALIT. Ay Naku kay laking abala at gastos, manggagaling pa ako sa Pangasinan para magfollow up tapos wala namang mangyayari! one thing i’ve discovered that cherry mobile does’nt have quality control before selling their units. they just sell anything then it’s up to the customer whether they had received a fully functioning unit or with defect. if problems was noticed by consumer then cherry will try to fix it if the unit is still under warranty. my magnum takes more than 2 weeks just to be replaced by a new one because they can’t fix it.

Pros: Convenient if you’re maintaining two lines. Very sturdy. Outer cover looks expensive.
Cons: Caller group can’t be updated. MP3 in the memory card cannot be synched with the audio player. There are files that the phone cannot recognize. The phone does not multi-task. Font looks cheap.
Verdict: For P2,390 this phone is definitely a good buy for an extra phone.

Nowadays everything is made in China. Most cell phones and computer parts are now made in China, brand name na lang inilalagay nila. In fact may satellite na nga ang China eh. I have this China clone phone for 2 years now, and its good. Di sya naghang, ever, although ang original battery pinalitan ko na ng original Nokia battery. I will try Cherry Mobile, may 1 year warranty naman pala eh.

i boutght cherry mobile M30..it’s about 5 mos. na ngayon…it’s ok so far, wala pa namang sira..ok ang mp3, tv, dual sim kc nag function naman, me flashlight then na very useful ngayon kc palaging brown out sa amin…saka ung batt 1 week ang gamit ko kun hindi ako gumagamitng tv…and 3 days if text and call lang saka mp3…me usb hub dn xa..lahat2x pasado…sa gumagamit lang kc ang fon ndi sa cell..

it doesn’t matter if the phone is dirt cheap or whatever you want to call it, it’s performance in the long run still depends on HOW the user uses it. I mean, why blame it ALL on the brand or the name it established? Just as long as you KNOW how to TAKE CARE of your things, it shouldn’t matter.

hay naku, may cherry mobile din ako pero di ko nagustuhan kasi wla pang one year tigok na. di ko malaman kung bakit ayaw nyang mag open. pinakita ko na sa technician at di rin makita kung bakit sya namatay ng kusa. okey naman ang battery nya. mabuti pa ang china phone sa 168 tumatagal. pero ito di ko maintindihan. sa SM na nga ako bumili para sigurado ako kaso ganun din pala. di mo pa maintindihan kung nasan ang mga service center nila. istorbo pa.
ung mga nag sasabi na bad quality ang cherry mobile kc china phone…hnd un totoo, depende un sa nag hahawak ng unit…kc ung mom k bumili ng china phone with TV nag last nmn xa upto almost 4 years na, kung hnd lng inangkin ng bunso kung kapatid malamang buhay p un ngaun…depende lng tlga un sa may hawak…ung kua k nga bumili ng samsung corby worth 7k wla png 1yr sira na eh..
ung about nmn sa madaling mag lowbatt ganun tlga ung mga cheap phones, class A lng kc ung gamit na batt nun(class A means ung pinakamababang class)kea ang best way is to buy an original batt..mag hanap lng kau ng ka compatible na batt nun.
malalaman nyo nmn kung maganda ang quality or not sa warranty ng unit…kapag 1yr warranty sure n magandang quality un.
Naku naman Secret Angel, wala sa humahawak ang depekto. Kasi talagang walang quality ang phone ang Cherry Phone. Basahin mo ang mga comments dito kung paano nasira ang mga cherry phones nila. Yung Cherry phone na binili ko noong December, wala pang 4 na buwan ay tuluyan ng namahinga. Bihira ko pang gamitin yun dahil may mas maganda akong CP na ginagamit. One week ko lang na di nagamti at noong gamitin ko na wala ng power. Nakatago lang naman sa aparador ko yung CP at walang gumagalaw. Ang masama pa niyan, walang available na parts ang cherry para ipalit kaya pag nasira ang cherry phone mo, mamumuti ka sa paghihintay bago maayos at wala ka pang katiyakan kung maayos nila. Dapat pai-banned na sa DTI ang pagpasok ng nasabing phone na wala namang quality, quantity ng products meron pero ang quality WALA!
first bumili ako ng cherry mobile q3i maganda kase ang design.. after 4 days bigla na lang nag guhit guhit yung picture…. tapos bumalik ako kinabukas sa store na pinagbilhan ko.. ang kaso wala na silang stock kaya napilitan aqng mag upgrade sa q5i.. maganda xa kase touchpad.. maganda gamitin.. kaso after ng 7 days biglang hindi na gumana yung touchpad. bumalik aq kinabukasan para makiusap na palitan,kaso di na sila pumayag. sinabi nila na kailangan sa service center na dalhin. itinuro nila ako sa sm cubao. nagpunta ako ng sm cubao, ang kaso di din nila maayos kase wala silang pyesa. kaya ang sabi saken nung technician dalhin ko na lang sa main office nila para duon palitan,hanggang ngayon di ko pa nadadala.. maganda sana eh. kaso di ko alam kung nagkataon lang na napunta saken ang ganuong klaseng fone.pero hindi na ako bibili pa ng cherry mobile..

I don’t really know kung nagkataon lang ito sa akin pero kung tatanungin mo ako kung bibili pa ako ng Cherry Mobile phone, my answer will be “NO”. another bad experience on my cherry mobile phone, nasira agad ang charger and the store said it was not covered by warranty. tried charging using my laptop, nagcharge sya kaso, 1 minute lang drain na agad. then nag autoshutoff na. tried charging again, bigla nag bluescreen laptop ko. it will be my last time buying china brand phones.
cherry mobile got nice features and cheap but downside is battery charging, angtagal nya magcharge. tapos madali pa madrain. may bug pa ang profiles nya, lagi naka set sa headset. di mo na mababago sa settings. need pa dalin sa roxas blvd para daw iflash. hassle talaga.
well, napakinggan ko mga comment ng user ng Cherry mobile, interested sana akong bumile eh, kaya lang marami nagtatanong kung paano gamitin un cherry features nya, katulad ng video, lock ng keypad, big letter use ng txtting, kumplikado marami kang pipindutin, mga hirap sila gamitin, tapos nag-iinit un battery, may malabong cam, nde maka download ng games at themes, eh anong klaseng phone ito. tapos sasabihin pwede na rin…pansin ko pa puro m35 un banggit na phone model…ala nang iba model na pinag-uusapan sa cherry mobile…nde ako mag try sa mura, kung sasakit un ulo ko d2. puro may pagtatanong sa use ng phone, kumplikado in other words. at tsambahan pa sa unit na mabibili kung mahusay dinig ko sa isa na nag comment…

i hate my cherrymobile d15. less two weeks from buying it nasira na yung isang key. tapos nung rineklamo ko sa store na binili ko, hindi daw covered ng warranty. i have been having trouble charging it because the connection to the battery is a major design flaw. now i cannot even open it because it smells like something burned. opened the case, and the battery smells like its burnt.
i regret buying this phone. i should have bought a myphone or a samsung.
anyway, just my two cents on this discussion.

ilang oras or days ba tumatagal ang battery ng inyong M35? sa akin kasi after 14 hours of initial charging, less than 2 days naglowbatt na kaagad. Hindi pa ako nag wawatch ng TV palagi nyan.
Is it really important to have the batt charged for 14 hours for the first 3 charges?
Pinapalitan ko ng Meteor yung Cherry T5 ko, kasi nga halos unusable naman lahat ng features. So far satisfied na ako sa performance ng Meteor…well, i hope it won’t disappoint me on the next weeks to come…

WE CAME FROM ANGELES CITY AND THE NEAREST OUTLET WHERE THE PROMO UNITS ARE AVAILABLE WAS TARLAC.WE ARRIVED THERE RIGHT THE VERY FIRST HOUR THE SM MALL WOULD OPEN.AS SOON AS WE APPROACHED YOUR CHERRY OUTLET WE FOUND OUT A QUEUE OF INTERESTED BUYERS OF YOUR GOOD UNITS. BUT TO OUR DISMAY ONLY 12 UNITS WERE AVAILABLE FOR US .I WAS SIXT ON THE LINE AND YOUR SALES GIRLS SAID THAT ALL THE 12 UNITS WERE EARMARKED ALREADY FOR SIX PERSONS AND THE OTHER ALMOST 50 UNITS WERE ALREADY RESERVED.SO EVERYBODY IN THE LINE BEHIND WAS ALSO DISSAPOINTED. Yep, cherry mobile’s camera is similar to that of a china phone… don’t expect too much!
My T85 is now my portable tv.. i don’t use it’s phone features anymore even thought warranty is up to december. Service center couldn’t fix the phone’s problem. :( oh well.. im back to samsung & loving it.

i had way too many problems with the cherry mobile 1800. bought is to be an extra phone but to my dismay, i had many problems. so many to elaborate. it is really disappointing. cherry might be bragging of their new units, but they seem to ignore customer satisfaction even for their cheap units. i will not but any cherry mobile again.

Yep, I tried the camera. It’s functioning properly. My only complaint is that I after clicking, you need to hold the phone steady for another second or two before moving or else your pic will turn out blurry.

I just purchased the Meteor model of Cherry Mobile today, but I can’t for the life of me figure out the keypad lock feature. Where on earth can I find the Unlock and Lock key?! I’ve looked through the manual but it’s of no help at all :( Can someone please help?
@olem32 yung sakin kasi B5722 ok sya kaya lang 1 sim lang ang pwede i-roaming sa US. I dunno sa saudi. You can check samsung website to know which ones are dual sim then check mo if both sims can be set to roaming sa country na pupuntahan mo. Depende kasi sa frequency na ginagamit ng country, check mo against sa frequency na supported nung phone mo for each sim. Price is 10k up i think.
@meah coming from SE, maninibago ka with Cherry Mobile coz mas maganda talaga ang SE. Don’t set your expectations too high baka madisappoint ka. However CM has all sorts of features at very affordable prices kaya nakakaengganyo. OK naman sya kaya nga lang quality is lower than what you may be used to.

Yep merong mga new dual sim units ang samsung but it costs more than Cherry. But its a good buy. About the Cherry sale, I think you can still buy their phones at an affordable price, wala nga lang buy 1 take 1 or wala nang freebies…

From my short-lived use of CM T85, here’s what I think. I have tried branded phones before I switched to a china phone, because I needed a dual sim capability. It’s obvious that the quality is not as great as other known branded phones. But it catered to my dual-sim needs. Then came CM. Since they are branded, I thought it would be better than china phones even if it is a china-made phone. The units have great features for someone with a low budget and needs a dual sim phone. The menu options are basically similar with china phones but T85 was better because it has what I need and a TV as an added bonus. However, it has flaws, and 1 major flaw of my unit was the restarting of the phone when there’s an incoming call. I, too, had my share of trips to the service centre but my problem was not solved. I went back to a more known branded dual sim phone, and even without a tv, I could really feel that I have a better phone now without the unusual defects. If you’re on a tight budget and don’t mind china-phone features, CM is still ok to use. But you should be very very careful of your unit, making sure you don’t drop it or what. It is a budget phone so don’t freak out if your expectations are not met! :)

Hi. I’ve been using Cherry X90 blush, yung parang make-up. I can say na I’m satisfied sa specs nito. Maganda ang design niya and functions. Camera, video, mp3, sounds, okay naman. And it supports 3gp file format for the video, mp3 format for music, chaka yung basic file formats ng pictures. Mabilis din magtext, walang lag. Pati pagsend ng files sa bluetooth, walang problema. Ang missing feature lang niya talaga ay yung java applications. Hindi ko alam kung pano siya lagyan ng themes and games. Pero okay lang naman kahit wala. Sure naman po akong may darating ding ganong service for Cherry. Thanks.

@chris I bought the unit at Ambassador Appliance at Park Square 1 last December. I’m currently in touch with one of the staff of CM via Facebook, and last reply was that, he’ll be discussing it with the others and will get back to me.
I don’t know if I can return it at the store because they said, warranty is with CM na. And as I have said, CM already replaced the main board, which should have worked like new na daw but did not.

For those who have T85, have u ever encountered intermittent restart of the phone upon receiving a call? sometimes sa text din or when the alarm goes off? I brought my unit to the service center 3x already. They changed the main board and upgraded the software (good as new na daw). Per ganun pa rin. Namamatay pa rin minsan pag may tumatawag. I just want to know if I’m an isolated case or there’s really something wrong with this model?

Kung may interest ka paayos po phone, maraming paraan. Same with nokia, pag nasira, you have to take time and effort para sa warranty.
Likewise, kung ilulubog natin ang Nokia, at other brands with cherry mobile sa tubig, lahat masisira except water proof ng SAMSUNG B2100. Meaning, lahat prone to damage, so nasa gumagamit
I have my cherry mobile almost more than a year, ang unang labas nito nabili ko sa Robinsons Mart, sa Rodriguez Montalban, i’m happy with it honestly. I have almost any model and brand na nagamit, pinamana ko pa nga sa anak ko ang cherry ko dahil friendly and heavy duty rin naman.
So be fair, kung kailangan paayos, you take time talaga.

i was afraid that after sale service will not be that good, and im afraid to say that im right.
March i went to Flasher, the nearest Service Center in QC, and they said that it will be fixed after 4 to 5 weeks, meaning i will not have phone for 1month. But if i go directly to the cherry mobile daw, mas iikli yata ang repair time. But i have to take a leave for work coz they are open Mon-Fri office hrs only. Which is not customer-friendly. I had a Konka and Myphone phones, and their service center is available (weekends and after office hrs) and ok.
But with Cherry, i dont know. I have been calling them (since last week)to the number u gave me (5673341) but it’s always busy. and tried to contact other number but they will refer me to that same number.
I already said that i dont expect the durability of this phone, pero November ko lang to binili, loose na ung saksakan ng headset, which is i need bec without headset, maingay sa kabilang linya kapag may voice call (that is the original problem of this phone which i didnt mind bec nga of headset). And then, until now wala pa ring headset sa nearest Service Center dito sa QC…
Come on, considering u r doin something to increase ur sales by having this marketing campaign (festival teaser) by putting a lot booths everywhere, pero paano nman after sales? wala na? bahala na kami mahirapan sa mga phone namin, aabsent pa kami para lng makapunta sa main service center nyo?
Kaya kung ako tatanungin, I wouldnt recommend this phone based on my experience right now. After half a yr of usage, loosen na ung cable/headset port (and the headset itself). And then it’s hard to contact the service center.
I hope someone from cherry will read this, if not, at least the consumer will be informed of others’ experiences.
Sure hindi kasing fancy ng Nokia, Samsung at Sony-Ericsson ang Cherry pero lahat ng hinahanap mosa basic cel phone andun. Kung medyo high end ng Cherry hanap mo medyo mahal, although ang level ng technology nya eh nasa 13K sa mahal na brand. Accessories nya magandang quality din at depende sa paggamit mo ang longevity nung unit.
Siguro typical sa dual sim na pag naglagay ka ng 2 sim eh apektado talaga ang battery life mo. At pag-aaralan mo kung pa’no gamitin yung unit gaya ng T90 dahil nga sa manual na kulang sa info, pero depende talaga sa kung anong unit ang bibilhin mo eh, so hindi fair sabihin na hindi sya user-friendly.
So far wala akong nakikitang problem with texting na masasabing hindi at par ang speeds nya sa mas mahal na brand. At depende sa unit ang special features kaya it’s by no means ordinary.
All in all, and Cherry celphones ay pang-masa at magaan sa bulsa na merong 1 year guarantee kaya hindi s’ya ang typical na China phone mo na pag-nasira eh walang waranty na ganito.

I just want to share my experienced here on the net and to WARN you to be careful. I bought 3 units of cherry mobile x90 and 4 units of cherry mobile P1 with a man given named himself as ALVIN S. MERCADO with cp number 091548*****. He told me to deposit it at bpi savings bank but because of incomplete account number he suggested to me to send it thru LBC Las Pinas City and send it to GLORIETTA 3 BRANCH, then that’s what I did. He gave me this name JACKIELYN VALDEZ TAM with address 303 Caltaluna Bldg. , Vista De Lago, Quezon City. But then again, with my mistake I put TAM instead of VALDEZ as her middle name. The following day, I fixed my mistake and he gave me another name EMCHIREL CALLET RABUYA with address 612 Boni Ave., Mandaluyong City. The woman got the money amounting in total sum of P19, 255 at LBC mandaluyong branch. After confirming the transactions , ALVIN S. MERCADO gave me a tracking number 1019622***** but when I got the chance to check it on the net, that tracking number was not existing at the very beginning. LBC Las Pinas branch helped me to tracked these people by giving to me the information I needed to be use by an NBI friend of mine. I also found out that the ID they used to get the money was an ID of a student from NEGROS ORIENTAL STATE with 091411 number. But this is more annoying, they used same ID NUMBER with different names, so I guess it is just made from recto. I kept on calling them, BUT the cp number was unreachable already. In short, it was just a bogus and didn’t get my cellphone orders.

Isa lang posibleng problem dyan, baka yung ibang mp3 files eh may problem sa pagkaka-convert. Try mo na lang magdownload uli ng same mp3 from a different location and try again. If the same problem persist i-tawag mo sa service center ng Cherry. If it works then yung unang mp3 file ang culprit.

Kung may Cherry ka at 2 days lang ang battery, ibalik mo yan baka may problem.
I have a T90 and after na maubos ang initial load ng battery nya eh lampas na ako sa 1 week nasa 2 bars pa. I watch movies, tv and play games. Inadjust ko lang ang settings so that hindi sya maaksaya sa battery and it works.

I think the problem is, basic na mp3 player ang ginawa nila kaya kahit ako hindi ko magawang ilagay sa different folders yung mp3s ko eh. Sa file system ng memory pwede pero it doesn’t really help kung sa player di-direct ng pag-play.
FYI T90 is one of the latest Cherry cp with the biggest Touchscreen compared to other brands like My Phone and Torque. So watching tv and specially widecscreen movies is better. The sound using the included earbuds are great and doesn’t sound like cheap imitations.

@Gane Yes I’ve also tried that. I even tried renaming the folders just like the name that’s on the User Manual, but nothing happens.
I also tried formatting the U-disk. after formatting, the D23 cp created a default folder for itself, namely, “BT”, “MMS”, “My Music”, “Videos”, “Photos” and a folder “cmsbrw”. The cmsbrw folder contains the files , cmscookie, cmshistory, cmspushmsg and longpush, all are of dat format. I don’t even know what are they!
Try checking if the mp3 file works baka kasi sira yung file or iba ang original na file extension.
Check mo na rin sa pinaglagyan mo nung file, sa T90 kasi kailangan mo munang puntahan yung folder ng memory card dahil sa phone memory ang main access na ginagawa nung cp. Kaya unless ipa-recognize mo sa cp kung nasaan yung files eh hindi nya ito ia-access.
If that doesn’t help call mo service center nila…
I have D23 phone and have the same yurisy. I downloaded like 10 mp3 format songs and then ang lumabas lang sa mp3 player is 3 songs. How can that be? I tried to find “REFRESH” function like chris said but I haven’t find one on the settings. So I tried refreshing it sa Computer ko. I clicked refresh on the music folder, but still nothing happens. I’ll dump this phone if I can’t find any answer.

Ok naman sya, sana nga lang eh mas detalyado yung manual at hindi puro text na halos hindi din naman naging useful sa overall operation. Ikaw pa rin ang manually na maghahanap ng paraan kung paano gawin ang ilang bagay na wala sa manual like accessing files na nasa memory card.
So far wala pa atang nakapag-test ng 4Gb and up sa units na hanggang 2Gb lang ang nasa list, although by experience may mga players na tumatanggap at bina-bypass yung limitations na ‘to. Yun nga lang wala akong available na 4Gb micro SD to try out…
Ang gripe ko lang eh, may files na kailangan mong iaccess muna sa file manager nya bago ma-access sa video at audio player or sa ibang settings.

Meron bang nakaka-alam ng tamang format/settings ng video pagnag-convert to MP4 o 3GP? Yung videos ko kasi ayaw tumugma yung settings nung para sa N82 ko. Parang nagja-jump yung frames although tama yung audio; lalong evident kung may fast movements. Gamit ko is Super Video Converter.
And lastly, ano ba “OS” nya, mukha kasing java based sya eh at kung meron bang mga program na pwedeng i-install like dictionary o additional games man lang?

i cant open .txt file in my s11 blade
i havev tried different formats already (ansci, unicode, utf18, unicode….) and yet the phone still not able to open the file. the file is just really small (about 8kb)
can someone pls help me, i have been calling cherry for about 3 times already and all they do is to get my phone number and call me later. wtf! still i don’t receive any phone call.
they just keep on transfering my call to customer service but they cant even help me, going to marketing, then person in charge and ended up getting your number and call say that they will call you back but they never will!!!!!!!
I just bought the Comet (original) and here’s what I got.

1 AC Adaptor charger(uses the included USB cord)

-> No SD card or SIM card included; Package was P3,995
Pros:
1. It’s small
2. Sound quality for calls and MP3 playback is quite loud and good with the included ear phones/buds
3. Has Bluetooth functionality(Haven’t tested this yet)
4. Removing the battery or replacing it within a few seconds does not delete the Date and Time settings on the unit.
5. MP3/Audio player has shuffle function. Can be set to play in “Background”. Decent playback quality.
6. FM Radio works; Reception quality is based on location.
7. Micro SD can be formatted internally( uses basic FAT ) and files have some manipulation options based on type(ex. renaming).
Cons:
1. User Manual is just a list of features and generic maintenance reminders. It does not say how to actually do anything.
2. The Micro SD can only be accessed by removing the battery. Mounted inside the unit.
3. Although the unit is supposed to be able to use a 2GB Micro SD(SanDisk China) the lag time is counted and minutes and the MP3 playback a joke. Will work fine with a 1GB Micro SD(Kingcom
Taiwan).
4. The camera is a joke. Very low quality image with no focusing. Has also frozen my phone twice now; I had to take out the battery to reset.
5. The USB port cover on the phone is anchored to the casing and such it gets in the way of the USB connector. The USB connecter does not appear, nor feels, to be fully seated when plugged into
the side.
6. The animation for the charging battery does not appear to change. I get the animation that it it charging but after the recomended 4 hour initial charging time it still had the exact same chaging
animation. Battery icon showed full after disconnecting from USB; Used a computer to charge the unit.
7. It really hard to do sms(text) as the size of keypad is not conducive to fast typing.
8. Creates at least twice the amount of interferance range as my old Sony Ericsson.
Opinion:
It’s good enough for the price if your looking for a celphone/mp3 player. Personalized wallpaper can also be set based on save files from the Micro SD card but the phone only generates the system
default folders IF the function has been called into use.
It has the same functionality that I would expect from a CDR-King product. I got this phone as a gadget to replace my failing Sony-Ericson and as an MP3 player backup for my CDR-King MP3 player(which I have been using for years). The inclusion of a worthless camera and Multimedia fluffware really hurt this unit as the screen is so small that the E-Book reader is rendered worthless and my camera firmware at least seems to freeze the unit. The images taken with the camera are VERY low quality and you and the subject need to be holding VERY still while the image is captured
and processed BEFORE saving.
The omission of the camera might have shaved a few bucks from the unit price. If a redesing of the unit is ever produced I would like to see the actual functionality of a 2GB Micro SD and the USB
port cover issue address; omission of crapmera is a must. A countdown timer would also be nice since I could only find a daily alarm timer inside.

i really like its dual sim since it would mean i will only be needing 2 cellphones for my 4 sims. but i felt a bit reluctant to buy now because of all the feedbacks that i read esp sa camera nya. mahilig kasi me ng camera sa phone coz i love taking pictures of my daughter, making me change my wallpaper everytime i capture a beautiful picture of her. will it be worth it changing my phones to m35? can anyone give light to my woes…

i just bought cherry mobile q7 jan 08, 2010. i’m really impressed with functionality and ease of use. highly recommended.
just a few con’s (but can live with it coz of the price):
1. Camera phone low quality -> use a real camera instead.
2. Phone name (cherry mobile Q7) fonts are too big -> will wait until casings can be replaced or customized.
3. No or limited accessories in the market -> maybe because it’s a new model, hopefully it will be available soon.
4. Message alert tone CANT be replaced with mp3 unlike ringtone -> or maybe it’s just me, anybody know this?
just my two cents :)
but I still love it because of the overall price
and appearance.

The battery life is good (text/call consume the battery for 2days for my D20), and one of the feautures na nagustohan ko sa D20 is ung mp3 sounds nito kc ang lakas ng sounds bcoz wide ung speaker. Dual sim is good and nde nacoconflict both sims pwera nlng kung ung signal na tlga ng network but as long as ok yung area maganda nmn ung mga signals. :D Yung themes ay pangeeeettt.. kc girlalou xa tlga. hahaha nde fit skin. tsk2.. tapos nde tlga xa for personalize fone. bsta ang nagugustohan ko lng is ung Audio at Dual Sim. ;)

I’m planning to buy the CM D20. I think it looks cute, especially the white one, and it has good features for a phone with a very cheap price. I’m just curious about its battery life, is it good? and to how many days can I use it with just slight calls and texts? I’m also bothered with some of the comments here saying D20’s wallpapers can’t be changed, is it true? I was hoping that I could personalize this phone a bit like its theme or wallpaper and maybe ringtone. Lastly, does it turn off whenever one of your SIM has no signal. I have tried using GLOBE and SUN on a “MyPhone”, and whenever ‘SUN’ has no signal, the phone turns off. Is it the same with Cherry Mobile?

i encountered a problem recently with my m35 bought nov. 2009. the menu/ok button on the keypad won’t function. i can no longer access the menu, can’t answer phone calls, read and write text messages. does anyone encountered the same problem yet? what’s the solution? well, i hope this just a rare case. anyway, i just want to share this experience to everyone but planning to bring my unit to service center soon.

TY talaga sa cherry mobile ang ganda talaga matibay pa pero may isa lang problema ang cam d masyado clear pero kung sa iba naman nyan mga spec ok na ok tapos ang batery nya tatagal ng 4 days kung text lang walang call at hindi ka nag mmp3 player tapos may isapang maganda sa cherry mobile may browser files sya i2 lang ang phone na may build in na ganyan na software kaya wag kayung mag alala kung bibili kayu ng cherry phone kasi unting2x sumisikat na i2 at pinapantayan na ang NOKIA

i assume nasa received folder or audio folder yung pin-play mo na sounds, di talaga maghihinaan yan
ganito gawin mo:
lipat mo yung lahat ng songs mo sa music folder, much convenient if sa computer mo na lang gawin ang paglipat.
then, open mo yung audio player makikita mo na lahat ng songs from music folder available na sa audio player
then para lakasan yung sounds press # key
para hinaan press *+ key

just bought a D10 unit, tanong ko lang pag nag chacharge ako un charger nya bigla mag blink ng green light then balik ulit ng red after wards green ulit then balik ulit sa red, pero un sa phone tuloy tuloy naman ang charging, ganto kaya talaga charger cherry or sa D10 na unit?
I just bought a new D10. Okay naman siya gamitin. Mukhang china phone yung interface pero masarap at madaling gamitin. :) Ang tanging problema ko lang ay kapag mahaba na ang naisusulat ko sa text, bumabagal na magrespond yung phone sa key presses at naglalag na. Tapos na ako magtext pero characters di pa rin tapos i-display. Di ko alam kung ganito talaga lahat ng unit ng D10 o talagang may deffect lang yung nabili ko. Itatry ko ngang papalitan. :)

hi…i have a friend who has a D25. she has a problem with the phone, when someone calls her the one calling will just hear 1 ring and then the message “number busy” will be displayed on the calling party’s fone. sa fone naman ng friend ko may mag-aapear na icon on the upper left side which represents the Rejected Call (in the 1st place hindi naman nya nirereject yung call). bakit may ganun? she didn’t put any restrictions on the phone like call divert/barring naman. hope someone can help. thanks.

mp4 and 3gp pwde mgplay sa S11 all you have to do is to compress the video para mag-play cya with sounds. yung gamit ko is Xillsoft video converter platinum. nakaka-nood nako ng video na na-download ko from you tube. i forgot kung san ko na download yung crack version nung converter-sorry….. try to google it na lang mahahanap mo rin yun.
and nakakainis lang na part sa video is delayed yung sounds pag marami frames and medyo malaki yung file.
regarding sa sent items, meron yan. pag ngtext ka dapat choose mo yung save and send para makita mo yung sent items sa outbox. kasi pag send only lang pinili mo di cya mag save.

i bought P1 manufactured by cherry. How much? less than 1k. 1 month n sa akin and maayos parin. Maganda ba? yup kasi its 3G- as in 3grams hahahaha its really tiny and i use mine as a keychain pag may nag text/call sa akin yung mga taong katabi ko tinititigan ako wondering what am i doing with my calculator. hahahahaha tapos stare down nila yung cherry phone ko tsaka ko na lang lalabas iphone ko to show them that their cheap samsung+lg touch phone is nothing compared to my cherry+iphone. seriously its worth my Php999.

Bought my D20 6 months ago. Pro’s: small, lightweight, good battery standby, almost-Nokia-like texting, easy-to-use menu, decent call quality, acceptable design and build, keypad is non-fading. Con’s: super-super-baduy background themes, super-super-baduy ringtones, graphics are not so crisp, fonts are super-baduy, software logic could be improved.
Overall comment: Pro’s outweigh Con’s so it is a good buy. If you want super classy then buy an original Vertu cellphone for P350,000.

I bought s11 blade last Nov 15, 2009 so far satisfied naman ako considering sa price nya
advantages: as mp3 very satisfied ako, clear yung sound, malakas yung speaker and with my 2gb microsd card marami talaga ako malalagay ng music.
ready na rin gprs nya, choose ka na lang jkung ano service provider mo
stylish cya feeling mo mahal, at first medyo hirap ako buksan yung takip sa likod to get the sd card pero ngayon ok na sanayan lang ata.
disadvantages:
d ako satisfied sa video player nya, i’ve tried mp4 and 3gp format. pag malaki na yung file expect na walang sounds pag nag play cya sa cellphone. na-play ko lang cya with sounds nung ng-compress ako ng video since compressed na cya don’t expect na maganda video quality and sounds.
and ang pinaka ayaw ko pag tumawag ka sa customer service nila. kasi pinagpasa-pasahan ako sa kung cno cno na agent bec. they are not familiar with the technicalities of their product thou mabait and magalang naman cla. ending na-resolve naman yung issue para nga lang akong naging bola.
and syempre wala ka makikita na accesories for your phone. so far wala sa malls malapit dito samin. problemahin ko na lang pag sira na.

I bought cherry mobile M35 integra a couple of days ago. Yes, the phone is good but the standby time of its battery is very short, especially when you use the TV function. Perhaps that is the reason why dealers of the cherry mobile M35 integra offers extra battery for free.Unfortunately, Play Telecom Center at SM City-Bacolod refused to honor the supposedly free item.

ok naman yung battery life,, ung CM M35 ko, pag hindi ko gaano ginagamit ung TV umaabot ng 3-5 days ung battery..tapos kung ginagamit ko ung TV mga 1-2 days lng..pero ok lng kasi, after the day I can charge itat least hindi ka mabibitin sa battery niya kasi kung malowbat man ung isa, may extrang isang libre battery ka pa, kaya entertainment anytime, anywhere..
i bought a cherry dual sim phone for 5T+pesos last august 2010 at dala ko siya dito sa kuwait ….. till now gumagana pa ito and i have no problem using it, i like the screen colors and i can also watch local channles here in kuwait … sa ngayon, at least one mobile phone na lang nasa bulsa ko

I have the T80 and i’ve been using it for a week now. The unit looks like Samsung Omnia. The camera is good when the lights are bright. Just right for a 1.3 mega pixeled cam. Player is not so loud but is ok especially when you are on headset. Battery life is good. Touch screen is good as well. It’s 6990PHP at stores i know a distributor who sells it at 5000 PHP. :) I’m satisfied with it but can’t guarantee if it will last since i’ve been using it for a week only. :)

just follow the process kung ano man sasabihin ng network sayo.

I bought d30 a month ago..I was happy ha. quality ganda ok naman kaso I tried the phone lock code kaso nung naglowbatt ayaw na pumasok ng lock code ko dinala ko sa service center sa SM Bicutan ang sabi sa akin di daw under warranty dahil ako daw naglagay ng lock code syempre nakipag away na ko dun kung di pala gumagana yung features na yun dapat di na nilagay di ba….comment ko bad service talaga….di marunung mga service center un-professional…..I thought maganda at reliable kaso naloko lang pala ako.. chinarge ako ng 500 dun sana makarating sa manangement or yungdistributor ng chery phones para malaman nila napanget ang kinuha nila servicecenter FLASHER ang pangalan ng nasa Bicutan service center

ung cherry mobile m35, meron na libre battery..tapos add ka ng P200 may micro sd ka na..ok naman ung sd kaso..dependent sya sa memory card..pero ok lng kasi..ung sinasabi nilang di daw pwede gamitan ng mas mataas na memory card than 2gb is not true..pwede ka gumamit ng 4gb or 8gb micro sd..kaya lahat ng fave songs and movies mo e pwede mo malagay sa cp mo..parang n95 ung cp mo ung 8gb..kaso nga lng P550 ung 4gb and P1k ung 8gb..bumili na ko ng 8gb para madami ako malagay kesa sa 4gb baka mabitin lng ako.ehehe..
so far 1 month ko na gamit ung CM M35 ko ok parin ang performance, malinaw parin ang TV..and mabilis parin magsend ng text..ok na ok parin sya..and may 8gb na kaya mas nageenjoy ako ngaun..haha!

Hi meron na po bang M35 dito sa iloilo? Im using d20 and happy naman ako sa features nya though hindi pwede mapalitan yong wallpaper. Approved naman sya pagdating sa battery. One time hindi ako nakapagcharge at wala na akong battery imagine from 8 ng umaga hanggang gabi nagagamit ko parin.
At minsan 3 araw ako hindi nagchacharge kahit ginamit ko pa ng kalahating araw yong Audio player nya….
Plus dagdagan mo pa meron pang memory 2gb pero ginagamit ko ngayun is 4…

wala naman atang pc suite ang m35 eh..ung m35, plug and play lang sya..parang flash drive, apos pwede pa sya web cam, pero ung sakin di ko lam pano paganahin sa YM, pero sa PC ko pwede naman..

I just recently bought Cherry Mobile D20 lite and I have no regrets. Actually I bought an extra phone for my Smart Buddy Sim card coz that extra phone is needed to load for smart clients. I didn’t expect a lot from it but I was impressed. It’s so light, had a lot of functions like FM Radio and you can even record songs from the radio (a function na wala sa Nokia 6600 Slide ko), good MP3 quality, loud speaker, VGA Camera, Video Player, Bluetooth, WAP and a whole lot more. It only costs P2990, but you have to buy 2 GB expandable memory card for 330. so papatak more than 3k but no regrets really :) I have the one in White and pink :)

Sa SIM2 ko yun na experience but when using Globe sim.Pero pag inilipat ko sa SIM1 slot yung Globe sim hindi na nakakaexperience.Pag Smart At Sun and nasa SIM2 slot wala naman na encounter. Siguro kailangan ng software upgrade ng phone.

i was tinkering with my m35 the whole day (updating my contacts and all) and i found that you can only associate 5 different 5 tones (aside sa 10 default ringtones) sa mga contacts…
but another thing that i found out as long as the contact is contained within the phonebook pwede rin mag-associate ng short video clip…which is a nifty feature…you can assiciate any makulit na video clip to a contact so when that particular calls up you’ll see the clip…
maiba naman besides associating a cool mp3 as a ringtone…
and also you can disable the sound of the video and enable the ringtone (mp3)…so you have a video clip running at the background while your cool mp3 is playing…

Ayos tong m35, yung reception naman kapag tumatawag ako malinaw. Medyo mahirap lang sa una sa texting kasi wala syang auto capitalization kada pagkatapos ng period. Kelangan pa magpipindot para baguhin yung input method sa texting para mag-capital ung letter tapos iibahin mo uli yung input method para bumalik sa small letter. Ganun din ba sa ibang cherry mobile unit? So far so good naman.. Wala naman ako reklamo. :-)
Yung m35 hawig dun sa nokia e51. Yun nga lang walang buttons sa sides.. Napansin ko lang..

I recently bought the M35 , everything works fine except for the “TV”. The signal is weak pero kahit papano meron naman signal & everytime na hinahawakan ko yung antena mismo mejo nagiging clear.

kahit hindi ka nagbigay ng pangalan, alam kong ako na ang tinutukoy mo. well, you have points naman. but i did not scare people. i just told my good as well as terrible experiences with that phone. kahit na basahin mo lahat ng posts ko dito, puro appreciations sa phone ang binanggit ko until few days ago when the shocking event came with me. san ka naman nakakita ng phone na sa apat na stocks na meron sila, lahat ng apat na yun ay may kanya-kanyang defects! yung isa, madilim ang screen; yung pangalawa, ayaw mag-on, yung pangatlo, masyadong tabingi ang pictures sa lcd at yung medyo matino na napunta na sa akin dahil wala na akong ibang choice ay may kaunting tabinging picture sa lcd. (kung sana ay magkatabi tayo ngayon, maipapakita ko sa yo ang defect ng phone na kabibili ko at siguradong manlalaki mga mata sa pagkadismaya). anyway, kahit na may kaunting defect ito ay natutunan ko na ring syang mahalin.

hindi naman ako bibili ng pangalawang cherry mobile phone kung hindi ko nagustuhan yung una, di ba? nagandahan ako sa unang binili ko kaya ganun ulit yung binili ko. the features are great and the price is cheap kaya it is a good phone. only that, i was dismayed na ang manufacturer ay hindi consistent sa quality ng product nila. at ang distributor sa pilipinas ay hindi man lang tinitignan nang mabuti bago nila ibigay sa sellers nila. dapat naman icheck nilang mabuti para ok naman. by the way, sabi sa akin ng sales lady: “itong orange gusto?” tinignan ko at sabi: “ayaw ko. madilim ang screen.” sabi ng sales lady: “oo nga e. pansin ko rin.” para sa mga nangangailangan ng dual sim phone, cherry mobile is a good phone. pero advice ko lang sa mga bibili na icheck na mabuti ang phone bago aalis sa store.

i used to have a cherry mobile phone. i loved it. then i gave it to my sister. i told myself that i would buy another one for me which i did a while ago. i was expecting that it would still be as good as my phone. i went out of the store and went to my place of work. i checked the phone and i noticed that the something was wrong with the lcd. tabingi ang mga picture nya. i hurriedly went back to the store. wala daw silang stock. hintayin ko raw na magkaroon ulit. i waited for about one hour. then, may dumating. guess what. ayaw mag-on ang unang bagong stock. so kinuha ng sales lady yung pangalawa. tinignan namin at tabingi pa rin ang picture ng lcd nya! wala ng choice kasi yun na lang meron sila. ibang-iba ang bagong ito sa una kong binili sa kanila. madilim ang screen at tabingi ang picture ng lcd. dati, sinasabi ko dito na maganda ang cherry mobile. dahil sa experience kong ito, sinasabi ko na na “NEVER ever buy this brand” kasi wala silang quality control. sinusuka ko na ang brand na ito. wag na kayong bibili ng ganto. bili na lang kayo ng may pangalan na phone kahit na mas mahal sila.

Ah para sa charger pala yon. Kapag kasi chinacharge ng kapatid ko m35 nya, dun nya sinasaksak sa usb port ng phone gamit ang usb cable na nakakabit sa charger. So pede pala sya icharge sa kahit sa ano sa dalawa.. Tnx!!!

I just got myself a D20 Life. My only expectation was to have a dual-sim phone for calls and text, so I’m pretty much satisfied with my purchase, considering I didn’t have to sacrifice an arm and a leg to get another phone. Ahehehehe.
But if you’re asking for the moon and the stars, you’ll be greatly disappointed, especially when it comes to the interface. Ahahahaha.
downside of the mobile functioning as a webcam…madilim ung image sa akin although functioning pa rin…so siguro mas maganda pa rin gamitin talaga ay ung mga “webcam” talaga…

any error messages? kasi as soon as you plug the phone the computer will detect the device and then install the necessary drivers…then the phone will give you two options (a:webcam, b:storage device) anu po ba OS nyo…mine works on both Windows 7 and linux…hope this helps..

i have converted a full length film (the hangover) to mp4 format (n-series) hindi choppy when you play it…although the file size is approximately 136.9MB…pero it proves that M35 can play mp4 format files..hope this helps..

just download your favorite movies.. pwedeng .mov or .avi harry potter movies would be around 1200 – 1500 MB, download a converter.. convert mo lang to .3gp, choose yung size that would fit a 240×320 pixel phone.. yung HP4 and HP5 ko 80MB nlng after maconvert.. keri lang pati yung quality and sound.. uhm, don’t convert it to high quality nagiging choppy kasi.. normal quality would be enough..

just bought the d50 a week ago. so far it works just fine. have connected it to a computer and have even used it as a webcam as it doesn’t need any special driver. however, i wasn’t able to use the COM Port feature successfully as windows xp doesn’t have a default driver for this feature. does anyone know where to get the driver for this or how to use this phone as COM Port. i’ve had my m35 integra for a month, and it really is worthy of it’s price, may features na parang kaparehas ng china phone pero u can actually see n its very far from being a china phone. as a gadget buff, i own a lot of techie stuffs- notebook, digicam, portabe dvd player, ipod, mobile phone… i usually look for the name to ensure na my money is well- spent, and i can say this phone, new player man sa industry has been earning good reviews!!! i dunno if this is a philippine- made phone but it is working good un nga lang di pwede magdownload ng games but u can surf the wap, just configure it with your sim.
ahm…. ngayon pa lang ako naka gamit ng m35… gusto ko po sana malaman pano maset and gprs setting nito.. ksi lagi pong sinasabi ung timeout daw… hmp.. di ako makapag browse…. )-:

oo nga po pala… sabi dun sa manual, fr or the 1st three charging of the phone, kailangan 14hrs para maprolong daw battery life… pero sabi sakin ng tindera, 8 hrs lang daw yung 1st time charge tapos ok na… tapos kailangan daw naka-off… eh nung nagcharge ako, wala pang 8 hrs, nag-ok na yung charging. natatakot ako kasi baka masira ko yung phine or something… tapos nung tinanggal ko yung saksakan and then binalik ko ulit, nagcharge ulit siya for ilang hours… any advice? thanks a bunch!!!

Yung bilog na parang camera sa harap ng M35 is actually a camera. You can activate it by turning on the camera, then go to Options tapos select “Self Capture Mode” turn it to “On”.
makikita mo ngayon mukha mo captured ng camera sa harap. para mas madali mag self-portrait.
Pag tapos ka na self portrait, turn “Off” mo na lnag yun ulit sa options.

itong gamit ko e ayaw nya ng USB ng iba. pwedeng pumasok pero pag isasaksak mo na sya sa pc e sasabihin nyang “bad contact charger”. pag titignan mo ang hitsura ng connector nila, magkaiba sila ng design sa universal na USB cord.

Settings > Security Setup > Auto Keypad Lock ay dapat naka-on tapos iset mo kung ilang seconds bago mag-auto lock. (Hindi kasi tulad ng Nokia yung paglock sa kanya. Nanibago din ako nung una.)

nung isang araw ko lang nalaman na naga-auto landscape pala ang tv and video player pag iniba mo ang position ng phone habang nanonood.. motion sensor din pala yun..tapos may stand pala sa may banda camera ng m35 na pwedeng ilabas at ibalik anytime.. I love it.. parang may mini-tv akong bitbit lagi.. dagdag mo pa na pwede ang 3gp sakanya.. just convert your favorite movies and save.. ang daming movies sa phone ko kasi ang isang movie ay umaabot lang ng 80mb (harry potter pa yun so sobrang haba pa nya)
the battery life isn’t bad either.. kahit ilang oras na akong nanood ng movies and nakinig ng music, tumagal parin ng almost three days ang battery ko.. binabaan ko lng yung LCD brightness ko to level 1..

hindi mo pwedeng downloadan ng games! kasi wala ka namang pagkukunan ng games para sa kanya e.

Yung Sim 1 ko naka Smart tapos yung Sim 2 naka PLDT Call All kaya ang sarap gamitin. All my clients can call and text me anywhere I go. Di ako nagsisisi sa pagbili ko ng Cherry Fone.

I think majority of mobile phone manufacturers are made in China and the inclusion of Chinese character was intended to capture the large market Chinese and Chinese-speaking countries like Singapore, parts of Malaysia and the Philippines. Check out the new models of D25, D30, C50, T80, Comet and Mars….parang gusto ko yung Comet. Ang ganda kc though hindi Megapixel ang cam.
Dapat iremove nyo na lang yung chinese character para hindi magmukhang china phone.

@ tricia. hope my suggestion is ok with you. medyo tedious pa rin sya pero beats typing the numbers again and again…. yung pag transfer ko ng phone #’s ang ginawa ko is mag export from my old phone (eg. save contact sa pc as *.vcf file typically ito yung extension ng phone entries like from MS Outlook.
Once you have these sa PC, you can just copy the files sa memory card ng phone mo. then access mo yung files from the memory card. open the file then select “Forward”. It will give you options. Since it detects na contact yun fino forward mo, it has an option to Forward to contacts. Once you do this to all the #s you have, na update mo na yung phonebook mo.
You may use the pc suite i recommended sa isa ko comment sa taas if you want to update the contact details by batch. kailangan lang bluetooth connectivity. hindi via cable ang updating.
another alternative is to save your phone #s sa sim. move all contacts. tapos kung ilan lang kasya sa sim, lipat mo sa phone memory naman ng cherry phone. then do the same steps until you have moved all contacts from phone memory ng isa mong phone to your cherry phone. ang downside lang nitong alternative na to is if you have multiple #s sa isang contact. nag c-create siya ng multiple entries sa sim (eg. Name A has mobile and office #, pag copy mo nito sa sime, name A (mobile) and name A1 (para sa ofc) ang entries nito. saka nawawala din yung ibang data like birthday, etc…
hope this helps other users as well. sana pag nag labas ng sariling pc suite si cherry mas intuitive like yung pc suite ng Nokia. or a java software na compatible with other branded phones para madalian yung users.

so far, ok naman ang phone na ito. maganda sya. mura na at maraming sosyal features. pero yung memory card nya e medyo niluluwa nya kasi nagloloose yung saraduhan nya. kaya nakakatakot na baka bigla na lang mahulog ang card at mawala.

@ Enrico, i fully charged my phone last sunday night until monday morning (first full charge), so far tumagal naman until 10 pm kagabi (Wednesday) yung battery life. though may mga 1-2 hour/s din ako na naka plug sa USB sa pc since I was copying files sa sd card. so medyo nag c charge sya while i was using the phone. not sure sa ibang users kung gaano katagal inabog battery life nung phones nila.

hi! just bought m35 and still learning its keys and functions..but actually the unit seems so user friendly and i like it as well…i am just curious how to activate my gprs. actually, when i bought it last monday, it was already activated but when i tried to connect it to the net, it says there that gprs is not subscribe…what does it imply? can anyone help me?

– using either sims for texting or calling is a breeze

– phonebook memory can only accommodate 500 entries, hence beyond this you need to store your contacts to either sims
– “send and save” is not the default, so if you want to save a sent message, you have to exit your inbox and go to write message – a bit tedious from there given you have to select several options
that’s all for now.. still tinkering with the phone

Hindi ko lang po recommended baka kc my propriety rights ang myphone for the software. kahit po sa other brands basta in-accept ng software or compatible posible pong gamitin. thanks for the info. actually i just found out that the pc suite of myphone works with cherry mobile. there’s just no sync function though.
what i did was to copy the vcf files in the received folder (any folder for that matter) and selected forward to phonebook (using the phone) and edited the tel # using the pc suite to sort out names/telephone #, etc.
i loved the webcam functionality! it’s so simple to use. no hassle in installation. just plug and play!
with regard to gprs/wap and mms, i was able to send an mms using my smart sim but kept on getting an error msg using my sun sim.
for both sims, gprs keeps on timing out even if i was just launching homepage. :(
kailangan pa ba talaga tumawag sa customer service ng bawat phone company for this?

@ chiro, i have the same issue with the small keys. talagang sanayan lang. parang yung ibang bagong nokia phones. i had a verzio twinn before na malaki ang keypad so medyo need to adjust my texting skills using my M35.
Answers:
Dual standby/ active: yes pwede po kayo mag send at makatanggap ng message sa parehong SIM without switching or pushing a button. parehong MMS capable ang SIM slots.
D20 yung default wallpaper, screensavers at animations po ang pwedeng gamitin. pero sa ibang models ng cherry pwede na po personalize ang wallpapers at screensavers. pwede rin shake ang unit to change wallpaper.
M35 as webcam: just plug the unit via usb to poc at may option na mass storage at webcam, choose the webcam. plug and play na po.
M35 to back up contacts: paki antay po ang software for pc sync..malapit na po.
GPRS and MMS settings: punta po kayo sa link sa taas ng thread, may guide po dun..Request nyo din po ang activation ng service sa provider nyo ( smart,tnt, red, globe, tm, sun). ask nyo na lang po if WAP or HTTP kc minsan nagpapalit cla w/o notice from HTTP to WAP and vice versa.
HOusings: pwede po magpapalit ng housing sa mga service centers.
Bluetooth A2Dp at AVRCP: para mag play sa stereo headsets, hindi po capable ang D20 at S11. ang pwede po ay M35, C50 at new models. Pati movie sa stereo headset ang play ng audio.

to champion: yep.. it’s easy to text in this phone.. the commands are similar to nokia like putting in spaces and the sort.. I’m also a fast texter and so far I haven’t ecountered the problems you mentioned.. although I’m kinda having difficulty with the keypads.. not because the quality is low or the keys are deffective but because I used to have a nokia phone with huge keys.. so I’m still adjusting, but if your previous phone has small keys as well, you won’t need to adjust.. hehe
question: is it easy and fast to compose messages using these phones? coz i have a myphone unit and i hate composing text messages coz there is a very long lag time after i enter the words and before they appear on the screen. plus, when the message i composed is nearing its end, the letters become jumbled (wrong spelling) even if i press the keypad correctly.

i recently bought the samsung c5212. i’m satisfied naman except for 2 reasons: tactile feedback is sooo slow kaya mahirap magtext, and isa lang ang default sim when u want to make calls or send text messages.
sabi ng cherry, “DUAL ACTIVE / DUAL STANDBY”. does this mean na both sims are “active” in the sense that you can make calls or send text in either sim? sa samsung kasi, kelangan mo pa pindutin yung sim swap button kasi one sim lang ang “default” sim at a time, so if you want to use the other sim, u have to set it, and then magre-reboot yung phone.

my dad bought the Cherry M35 integra in dipolog just last week.. He seems to like it and is planning to buy one for me as well. I have the D20.
Ang nagustuhan ko sa kanya ay yung capable na sya ng mms/gprs on SIM1 and SIM2, just have to get the right settings for each network profile. But be warned na “sobrang bagal” makapag download ng MMS at GPRS. Pero nakukuha naman. Unlike dun sa myphone ko dati na yung SIM1 lang ang merong GPRS/MMS.
Yung batt ko lasts for 3days. Never ko ginamit ang FM at Camera. Parang pinilit lang na magkaroon ng camera. Yung bluetooth naman is ok. Nagagamit sya ng matino with my jabra headset. Tho Bluetooth 2.0 na sya and i think A2DP na rin. Hindi ko cya mapagana with my Jabra stereo headset and Nokia BT speakers ko.
Isa pang ayaw ko ay yung mga pre-installed wallpapers lang ang pwedeng magamit.
Btw, nakalagay dito at sa instruction manual na 2gb lang ang kayang card. But I’m using mine with a 4gb na card bought from cdr-king. =)
At yung mga videos, mapa 3gp man or mp4, slow mo ang playback. =)
Signal and performance at bilis ng UI is ok naman for me.
Shortcut for silencing the fone is katulad sa nokia. Press and hold yung “#” sign.

i have been using my inertia for about 2 months, so far so good when it comes to the performance, i like also d battery life, i could usually use the phone for about 1 or 2 days pg di nmn masyado ginagamit for the calls… Its true, that if you will buy a cheap unit, definitely dont ask for anything more kc nga CHEAP mo sya binili, well, it depends naman kc s gumagamit ng fone kung magtatagal sya, end is, its for you to find out out… CIAO…

it dependson how you use your cp.. kung masyadong kang burara aba natural na sirain yan.. ive tried diff. cp na lahat branded but in the end meron ka talagang ma encounter na problem.. so if you planning to avail cherry mobile try to have an extra care nalang since its cheap n dualsim pa.. plus cute din.. actually i bought m35integra 3 weeks ago n so far best buddy padin kame, kc its user friendly pa..

maganda naman ung phone lalo n ung m35…ndi p nga lng sikat ung name nya.pero sure aq n d mgtatagal makikilala rin un….saka NTC accepted xa at 12months warranty…kya pedeng pede xa mkipagsabayan sa mga branded n phones…^_^
under ALCATEL itong cherry mobile kaya ok yan……
Do these phones have more detailed specs? USB connection? Infrared? Bluetooth? For saving numbers, messages, addresses, etc….

for list of authorized stores and branches where you can own a cherry mobile handsets. It is available in all Electronics Boutique branches. Interface is same with the common brand. I recommend M35 and D50 for dual SIM..

OT – fyi, i have a SE C905 at almost 1 month nang nasa service center at 6 months nang labas-pasok sa service center. kaya wag nyo masyadong palakpakan ang mga branded. they are all electronic gadgets na pare-parehong may Ups and Downs.

MYPHONE/CHERRY MOBILE are china phone which is not worth it to buy…sayang lng 6000/5000 mo kung bibili ka ng ganitong brand…

I bought the M35 last month and so far, I have not encountered any major problems with this phone. OS nito is comparable to Sony Ericsson’s. Madaling gamitin yung phone, maganda yung display nito at clear pa yung reception. And I can watch my favorite TV programs (OTA) anywhere pa! Sawa na rin ako sa mga Nokia, SE, Samsung, and LG phones, and I want to keep just one phone for my two sims, kaya I decided to buy this for a change naman. I Never expected na ganito kaganda ang build quality and performance ng phone.Sulit na sulit sa 5,990 nyo.
I got the m35 cherry mobile as temp.replacement to my nokia 6500c and 6300 coz im having two network providers. Its been a month now and so far so good, it’s user friendly especially you are a nokia phone user. Feed up of bringing 2 phones so I got the cherry mobile, wow I can watch tv patrol daily now.
I bought a D50 unit, but the GPRS doesnt seems to work. i tried to get help on ****@****.*** but no reply.
Does anyone know how this thing will work? thanks in advance for the help.
These phones are not good, poor quality. They are china phones imported by the company who brought cherry qq cars. Medyo sirain at kulang ang service centers. Kaya nga mura. Cheap phones.
Buy the branded phones instead, wala pa sakit ng ulo. I bought the Cherry D20 phones. 5 days pa lang, sira na ang camera at bluetooth. May lumalabas na error. I should demand a replacement of the unit.
Looks like a KIRF! I bet OS is proprietary at best with a horrible battery life. Wouldn’t really trust those as a primary phone.

i would like to share my experience in using china phone.
i bought my old phone way back 2008 and during those time… all i can say to my tv phone is that… im very satisfied with it (kasi may tv))
BUT! after3 months… battery drains so fast! worst thing is that, it will take me 5 hours to charge my phone and you can only use it around 2-3 hours… with or without using it! (maski naka off nagdradrain pa rin) i tried power saving settings (lessen backlight, remove vibrate, remove tones, bluetooth off) but still… it drains so fast!
im also afraid of the phone signal if it meet the standards (NTC) because it emits too much signal/frequency… im so terrified! i dont know if this device will burn my testicles! wahaha!
so for safe players… stick to branded phones… but for the risk takers… its all up to you :)

Sun actually offers MyPhone Dual Sim phones sa postpaid subscriptions nila. The other sim is sun-locked while the other is openline.

I currently have an LG Phone right now but I may go back to Nokia or buy an iPhone kasi the quality of the LG is not soooo good. :(
i saw this ad in a broadsheet… MB in think.. yeah sir yuga this is very usefull to those who sell e-load and amax. kasi sabi nga sa ADS DUAL ACTIVE SIM.. PERO ANG QUALITY po kaya?

funny that you expect wifi from these phones. they’re dirt cheap if you haven’t noticed. and with the very limited screen size, wifi won’t be as fun and as useful as it should be.

These phones may not be known brands. But if they can pack a punch, why not? Of course, it also depends on the battery life and speed.
