A few days ago, we gave you our first impressions of the Cloudfone Next Infinity Quattro. This time we’re unboxing the Cloudfone Next Infinity, which is the most affordable device in the Next Infinity lineup of smartphones. Here are our initial thoughts.
The Next Infinity is the most basic smartphone in the Next Infinity lineup. It has a smaller 5.7-inch display with HD+ resolution mounted with 2.5D curved glass.
Placed above it is the earpiece, 16MP front camera, and LED flash.
On the right are the power/lock and volume buttons, while the left side is devoid of any keys and ports.
Placed above is the 3.5mm audio port, while down below are the micro USB port, and microphone.
Flip it on its back and you will see the secondary microphone, 13MP camera, LED flash, fingerprint scanner, and loudspeaker.
If you’re wondering where the SIM and microSD card slots are, they can be accessed by removing the plastic backplate. Here you will see the two microSIM slots and a dedicated microSD card slot. The battery is removable as well.
Although made of plastic, the Next Infinity feels solid and well-made that we didn’t notice it has a removable back. The curve on the glass is most prominent on the sides and it reminds us of what Samsung did with the Galaxy S8. All in all, a nice-looking phone for Php6,999USD 119INR 10,111EUR 114CNY 869.
The Cloudfone Next Infinity is powered by a Snapdragon 425 chipset, 3GB RAM and Android 7.1.2 Nougat. The storage though is a downer at just 16GB. We’ll know more about the device when we publish our full review in the coming weeks. In the meantime, you can watch our unboxing below:

5.7 in tapos HD? Good luck sa jagged (if my term is correct) texts.
gab says:
hindi siya “HD”, kundi HD+ (720×1440). may extra pixels para ma accomodate ung mas mahabang 18:9 screen. isipin mo na lang 5″ siya na HD, tapos pinahaba at dinagdagan ng pixels
