Cloudfone Excite Prime 2 Pro now official

After its recent promo deal, Cloudfone is back again with, as what the company dubbed as the ‘bigger beast’ after Excite Prime 2, namely Excite Prime 2 Pro.

The new device sports a 5.5 inch Full Gorilla Glass Screen. With the emergence of smartphones that offer a dual rear camera, Cloudfone has finally joined the bandwagon. Its camera is power-packed with 20MP selfie camera and 13MP + 8MP Dual Rear Camera and comes with Portrait mode (Bokeh effect) on both rear and front, Super Pixel Mode, Timelapse, Soft Light, and Face Beauty.

Powering it is Snapdragon 435 (Octa-core 1.4GHz), 4GB RAM, 64GB of internal storage (with dedicated microSD card), MSM 8937, Android 7.0 Nougat, and 3,000mAh battery. It also offers Quick Charge 3.0

When it comes to its connectivity aspect, the new device offers dual sim, and Octa-core LTE.

Price for Excite Prime 2 Pro is yet to be announced.

im one of cloudfone user for the last 2 yrs. last yr my wife buy cloudfone excite prime and she always keeps telling me that the battery can save 3 to 4 days and the camera so clear but last month she lost the phone. yesterday she buy cloudfone excite prime 2 all I can say its so amazing because with the price of p5999 you can buy a phone with gyroscope and the camera its very clear it has 13mp.and now I really want to buy this cloudfone excite prime 2 pro coz it has 4G ram good for gaming specially for google cardboard that required a gyro.

I honestly wouldn’t be surprised if this goes over 11k. This thing is a few steps ahead of the already-awesome Next, which still retains that annoying 9,999 SRP.

Cloudfone is indeed stepping up their quality and game. Both proud and sad. Proud because a local brand chose higher quality/premium SKUs to distribute instead of the usual janky entry-level phones (looking at YOU SKK!) as well as partnering with big names (NBA, Disney). I strongly feel that they’re moving towards international-level quality.

Sad because they now have some sort of excuse to charge premium prices as well, hehehe. The thought of splashing more than 9-10k on a “local brand” is still a bit jarring to many, myself included.

In fairness to cloudfone, they’re stepping up the game for local smartphone. The phone looks premium and vivo-ish.
