Last September we saw the emergence of Doogee’s latest device and successor to the Mix, the Mix 2, in the company’s official website along with rendered images from famous leaker Evan Blass. We also got it on sale locally last month, for a short duration and in limited quantity via online retailer Banggood. Now, it seems like Doogee is finally releasing the phone for full retail in the Philippines.
The company posted on their official Philippine Facebook page that the Doogee Mix 2 is now up for sale, and at an even lower price than initially expected. The device is Doogee’s official entry into the 18:9 display market, although their previous Mix device did have thin bezels and a good screen to body ratio. It is powered by MediaTek’s Helio P25 octa-core CPU, Mali’s-T880 GPU, 6GB of RAM, 64GB of internal storage, Android 7.1 Nougat, and a 4,060mAh battery.
For photography, it’s equipped with a dual a 16-megapixel + 13-megapixel rear camera setup capable of shooting 4k video and a dual 8-megapixel front camera setup with a 130° and 88° wide angle lens. Other features include 3D facial recognition and USB Type-C.
