We saw this Nokia E72 China Phone yesterday being sold at Makati Cinema Square for just Php4,000USD 68INR 5,778EUR 65CNY 496 but my cousin was able to get it down to just Php3,650USD 62INR 5,273EUR 59CNY 453 with two free SIM cards for the dual-SIM slot.
The construction and build quality is impressive you’d think the phone was made at the same Chinese factory the original ones were made.
Of course, the prints and painted logos seemed they were done in haste (that gave away hints that it’s a knock-off). The camera at the back even says it’s 9 megapixels. The speakers also blast broken audio even at half volume.
Of course, there’s no WiFi, 3G or GPS included but at under Php4k for a dual-SIM knock-off? Sold! *heh*

There’s no point in sporting a fake phone. It only shows too obviously the degree of your pretensions. Always go for substance, not for the show.
incredibledNA says:
ang kulit! nagrereview ka rin pala ng fake items.lol
jv paz says:
parang ayaw ko na tuloy bumili ng nokia kasi lagi na lang may fake.
Turbo Slice says:
Knock-off? It should be called an innovation! hahaha. The Nokia dev team should see this, so they’d apply the dual-sim feature to their lower-end phones.
dumble says:
@jill,
i think people buy this kind of phone because its cheap, dual sim and yung ibang features na wala sa ibang phone like dbvt, its not always(or even not at all) to pretend that your using an expensive phone
Gee says:
i agree! buying phones are not only for the intention of bragging what kind of phone we have or how expensive it is… as for me i go for its usage. dual sim, tv? it’s like all in one. that can’t even be found in your authentic brand :D and if ever it got snatched or whatever tragedy it ends to….it’s not gonna be that painful coz i just got it a a very bargain price if we have to compare it to the authentic ones
lolipown says:
China phones have their use…. as a decoy for your much more expensive genuine phone perhaps? I’ve been a victim of snatchers (three as of last count) but they’ve so far only pilfered my china phones :D
Jay says:
may TV ba sir abe?

what about camera resolution, willo it really fare with the real one? what about the interface, is it sjnappy enough as the real one?
Edgar says:
If only for features not found in lesser model phones, then it might be worth your Php4k. Just be ready though to shell out the same amount if it conks out on you.
Take these China DVD players for example, that sells for Php1,500 and even lesser here in Davao. It won’t hurt much to buy another one if ever it burned out, say after a year.
Actually, I’m waiting for a China BluRay DVD player. Sure, I’ll be the first one in the queue for it. Haha!

heheh.. yeah… I’m a recipient of the type of phones.. someone gave me a N95 phone thinking, wth.. are you giving me this… so when you look at the phone more closely you see that is one of those china knockoff… :)

madami na china phone nagkalat ngaun… HEHE!!
pero 9 megapixela ba talaga yan… alam ko kc VGA lng camera ng china :D
kinny says:
I own this phone! Got it for Php3,700 at Greenhills. Wow the camera is not even 1MP, basag ang sounds tapos ayaw na mag-on after six weeks! Hahaha! Pinaayos ko Php800. The guy told me though, “Mam pagnsasira ulit bili ka na lang ng bago!”
I highly recommend the my/phone ones as a spare dual sim phone. At least malapit sa bahay ko ang service center!
boo says:
@kinny, I agree with you. medyo lugi ka talaga nun, kasi 3700 lang yung phone and after 6 weeks, sira na agad? And they charged you 800 pa to get it fixed! Wala bang warranty ang mga ganyang phones kahit 3 months man lang?
my/phone is a better brand, similar to the cherry mobile phones. mas durable naman kahit paano.
Kinny says:
@boo
Ang warranty nila 1 week lang but hindi kasama LCD. Nagkamali ako ng bilang hindi pala 6 weeks old ang phone wala pa palang 5 weeks ayaw na mag on!
The guy said faulty yung battery connection. This phone looks really cool but it is such a lemon. Yung my/phone Q21 ko hanggang ngayon ang tibay.
New phones I’m eyeing: Nokia E72, Samsung B2100
Porcelain ninja says:
Save your money guys! One week warranty only but the LCD is not even included in warranty.
There is no magic voice and camera is strictly VGA 0.3. The NOKIA sign is hologram and the E72 is the wrong font so obviously fake. Battery also drains super fast on this phone. If you use the battery on a regular Nokia it’s actually still full bars. Save up for the real thing.
I am swearing off china phones. Tama si boo my/phone and cherry are better. Hearing good things about Torque too.
Kinny says:
Finally I got to sell my China E72. Keeping my fingers crossed that it does not conk out before the three more gives.

people buy china phones for different reasons. some see it as a way para makapagyabang at a cheaper price. but sa nkikita ko ngayon maraming bumibili becoz of its features na wala sa leading brand at kung meron man obviously mas mura xa. personally sa experience ko bumili ako ng fake na iphone 3g (its not 3g but it looks like the the iphone 3g) not becoz gusto ko ipagyabang sya but dahil meron sya ng features na gusto at kailangan ko at yun lng kaya ng pera ko. for 2800 meron na sya bluetooth 2gig micro sd memory mp3player, camera at natutuwa ako sa touch screen nya. what a disapointment nga lng dahil ung ofism8 ko bumili rin sa same store at ung nabili nya dif model but same iphone 3g imitation 2800 din may gravity sensor. waaaah bakit ung sakin wala? malas ko pa ilang beses ako bumalik sa store na un dahil defective ung nabili ko. first maluwag ung lcd kaya may time na sabog ang display. binalik ko at pinalitan nman nila….. ng unit na battery nman ang sira. perwisyo amf. ang layo pa naman ng store sa bhay. babalik nnman ako dun dis weekend. grrrr.. but i still believe kung kaya nyo take ung risk sa ganitong product nsa inyo na yun. personal advice para sa mga may balak bumili umiwas sa mga store na may nkikita kayong mga soldering iron o repair area sa pwesto nila. malaki tsansa nyo mkabili ng defective items sa ganitong mga pwesto.

yey!!! sulit…. for just 4k..
darien kamen says:
do you think myPhone, cherry mobile, and torque are better than the other similar china phones? those are china phones too… as in pareho ang design.
coutney says:
i have bought a similar 4ne but cnt seem to sms but can receive, pls help me.wat could be the problem
barbie says:
cherry mobile and myphone are pinoy made. i’d go for those. you know, pinoy made products are very nice and sulit. may warranty pa.
we’ll clone nokia and blackberry are stylish, but be careful kasi nga pagnasira mahirap maghanap ng papaayusan. narinig ko rin sa radyo na, mas malakas ang radiation ng cloned “china” phones.
kung saan sulit money, what satisfies your needs (be comfort, porma, ect.) yun bilhin.
