The next big thing, revealed.
A case manufacturer has revealed the Galaxy S8 in all of its glory, and it has confirmed the rumors.
The smaller Galaxy S8 is going to be larger and will ditch the front buttons, pushing the fingerprint sensor to the rear. It’s also going to be a 5.8-inch Edge screen, possibly replacing the Edge moniker of its larger variant to ‘Plus’.
Also confirming the rumors is the existence of the “Bixby” button on the left hand side, a button that will allow you to call Samsung’s AI assistant. The Iris Scanner from the now phased-out Galaxy Note 7 also makes its way here.
Of course, the Galaxy S8 is expected to pack in a better Exynos chipset with 4GB RAM, and while there are no dual cameras here, an improvement is coming to one of the best smartphone cameras last year. It’s also expected to come with a better battery, USB Type C, and an audio jack.
The larger variant of the phone is rumored to come at the same form factor with a 6.2-inch Curved Super AMOLED display, and will be called Samsung Galaxy S8+.
Pricing & availability are yet to be announced.
No dual cam? Come on.
“will allows”
He of course meant that the S8 is going to be larger than last year’s S7. But yeah, it could have been worded better. That’s a very confusing sentence right there.
“The smaller Galaxy S8 is going to be larger and will ditch the front buttons” ?
hindi ko makuha ang smaller pero larger…
S7 is 5.1 inches and s8 will be 5.8. larger right?
He means the smaller s8 will be larger in prize.
Because there are 2 variants for the S8, the smaller one and the larger one with the “plus” moniker.
He means the supposed to be smaller variant of S8 will be 5.8 inches in size which is larger than S7’s smaller variant which is in 5.1 inches in size. Every iteration usually have a counterpart in terms of size but in this new galaxy s iteration the size seems to be not considered.
