Was scheduled to attend this virtual launching of the Nokia N-Series Mobile World Congress hosted by WOMWorld. It’s part of the Mobile World Congress 2008 which is happening now until February the 15th in Barcelona, Spain. Missed it due to several scheduled meetings so I didn’t get to ask questions.

3.5G/HSDPA, WiFi, 3.2MP Carl Zeiss optics, Assisted GPS, FM, Bluetooth, up to 8 GB

3.5G/HSDPA, WiFi, Assisted GPS, 2.8 inch screen, 5MP camera with Carl Zeiss optics, flash & video light, DVB-H for Digital TV, 16GB Internal memory
The N78 has no real keys and uses a touch surface (interesting). The fourth unit is the Nokia 6210 Navigator which is a slider phone, HSDPA, 3.2MP camera and aGPS.
The N96 on the other hand was built for gaming with the new NGage platform. Aside from the built-in 16GB internal memory, you can add an external 8GB microSDHC to pump that to 24GB. Now that’s some serious storage you got there. This could be the iPhone-like unit that we saw during the Nokia Go Play video presentation in Singapore last year. Those who bought the Nokia N82 two months ago are in for a big disappointment.

@otoyreyes Well motorolla’s line of mobile phone might die this year if they don’t find a solution. I read in “endgadget” that Motorolla will be dissolving its mobile phone department due to yearly sales drop. The other solution was to run the mobile department as a separate company. We all just have to wait and see what happens to their mobile phone department this year..
ive been a non nokia phone user for eons of years and last year i decided to try one.. bought an N95 … the phone was great but just a little pissed because the price dropped maybe around 10 to 15 thou in 4 months .. hayyyy.. should have stayed with motorollas hehehe
N96 may cost an arm and a leg much like N95. From what we can see here, the 6220 Classic has the same features as the N82, only that it has touch sensitive keys. My problem with TS is you will have to look at the screen or keys while keying in text or commands since there’s no “felt response” when touch got through ok.
The other phones with only 3.2Mp cam, yes I’m looking at that N78 right there, do not even compare with the N82’s 5Mp. If Nokia can strap in optical zooms on those then cool but still not quite.
well its india’s own line of mobile phones… hmmm.
maybe someday will have are own GMA phones hehehe.
