do you have the unit? I have one Optimus 2x for 2 days now and didn’t experience that. Moreover i’m super impressed with the speed of the internet via wifi. For me this is a great promo if you’ll be chosen that it :)

well my friend had an xperia arc, and we went to cyberzone and may test unit dun nang optimus 2x, to our surprise mas responsive ang xperia arc, single core dre. also try searching google about reviews on it, sobrang daming bugs, prang minadali ang release para maging first dualcore phone.

Sorry, but your reasons are very shallow. You shouldn’t concluded with that short period of use. You should consider the phone’s status during the test on public.

Second, test phone yan, madalas mabagal ang mga smartphones pag bagong bili kaya mas maganda ifactory reset muna

hey, a dual core phone below 15k even though it’s buggy and half-baked is worth a shot! :))

makes you think though why LG’s already given two promos for this phone…. can’t help but think there’s something fishy about LG…

I think we should give LG a chance. I mean, yes, it’s quite doubtful regarding the promo for it’s just been launched. I don’t know actually but I still wanted to try it personally. I won’t judge it if I still haven’t tried it. Well, I just hope I’d be chosen to be one of the lucky winners.

Sir Yuga, when are they announcing the “winners”, anyway? :) And how many people will they be considering?

LG nagpapromo imbis na libre ang ibigay na phone magbabayad ka pa rin. Parang nabawi lang nila ang cost nila sa mananalo na magbabayad pa ng 50%. Nakapagpapromo na sila nabawi pa nila yung cost nila sa pagpaparomo nila. Ngayon lang ako nakakita ng contest winner na magbabayad pa ng 50% ng napanalunan niya.

as if na-try nyo na para i-judge to :P basta ako gusto ko nito kahit may mga bugs at glitches na pinagsasasabi nyo… di mo naman pansin yang mga yan kung normal user ka eh… pero kung developer o naglalagay ka ng illegal na ROM… saka mo lng mapapansin yan… sino ba d2 sira na maglalagay ng illegal na ROM? haha

roms aren’t technically illegal, android since its conception has been an open-source platform. That’s why each phone brand has their own UI, their own widgets, their own take on how to customize their droid phones. Roms and mods are of the same concept, only their done by the public. And they are welcomed by droid fans as well.

I wouldn’t say even if you’re an ordinary user that you wouldn’t notice the glitches. I mean who wouldn’t notice a phone freezing/rebooting/or suddenly dying? But hey, LG’s about to release an update which would address these issues anyway.

Kuya, a ROM for android is a customized version of the phone’s OS, not a dump of a game file (i.e. gameboy rom).
