Hands-on: White Xiaomi Mi Mix

Xiaomi’s Hugo Barra did not really reveal any new smartphone in their year’s CES here in Las Vegas. Instead, he showed the media a new color variant of their Xiaomi Mi Mix phone.

It’s the same hardware, just a different color and finish. Despite that, the white variant of the Mi Mix is still a stunner. We’ve been using the original black variant for over a month and we loved it.

The white Mi Mix looks more pristine with the pearl-white color having a glossy finish that’s as slippery as the original one. The bezels are more prominent now since it’s in white and there’s a small black gap before the actual display.

The gold-plated trimmings and accents are still there if you get the 6GB/256GB model.
