Hands-On: ZTE Blade V41 Vita 5G

With the return of ZTE in the Philippines, they also released three new affordable smartphones — the ZTE V40 Design, ZTE V40 S, and the ZTE Blade V41 Vita 5G.

We’re currently testing the ZTE Blade V41 Vita 5G for a full review but let’s take a quick hands-on of the device to see what ZTE has in store for in their return to the Philippines.

Zte Blade V41 2

The ZTE Blade V41 Vita 5G has a 6.67-inch IPS FHD+ display with a 90 Hz refresh rate. It has a teardrop notch up top and bezels on the sides, with the bottom one having a larger-than-average bezel.

Immediately standing out for us is the Blade V41 Vita 5G’s build quality. It has chamfered edges and what looks to be an aluminum frame that gives the V41 Vita 5G a solid feel in the hand, especially with its 7.98mm-thin body.

On the right, we have a volume rocker and a power button.

At the top is a secondary microphone.

At the bottom, we have a USB-C port, the main mic, a 3.5mm headphone jack, and a speaker grill.

And on the left, we just have the phone’s SIM slot.

On first use, the display quality is serviceable with good colors and average brightness. But we did notice that the viewing angles aren’t that great, with a loss in quality after tilting the phone just a bit. We’ll see in our review if this is a major issue.

At the back of the Blade V41 Vita 5G we have its triple camera setup that’s led by a 50MP main, a 2MP macro, and a 2MP depth sensor.

Even we can’t deny that back of the V41 Vita 5G is pretty cool, with the camera lenses having a copper-gold outline that makes the phone look more premium than its price suggests.

The back also has a frosted glass design, with some minimal ZTE branding at the bottom, that makes the V41 Vita 5G look pretty professional.

Zte Blade V41 8

Powering the ZTE Blade V41 Vita 5G is a MediaTek 810 8-core 5G chipset, 6GB of RAM and 128GB of internal storage, and a 4500 mAh battery with support for 22.5W fast charging.

Zte Blade V41 10

The ZTE Blade V41 Vita 5G (6+128GB) has a suggested retail price of PHP 11,999.  With the V41 Vita 5G’s specs, features, and build quality, it looks to be a solid budget-to-mid-range phone but we’ll share more after we finish our full review.
