Honor 80 GT now official

Honor has just announced its newest smartphone, the Honor 80 GT. Powered with the flagship-level Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1, the 80 GT is the newest contender in the uber-competitive mid-range to premium smartphone segment.

The 80 GT comes with a 6.67-inch AMOLED display, with a resolution of 2400 x 1080 pixels, and a 120 Hz refresh rate. The display also touts 1.07 billion colors and a DCI-P3 wide color gamut.

Complementing the Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1, the 80 GT will come in two configurations: a 12GB RAM and 256GB storage version; and a 16GB RAM and 256GB storage variant.

Honor is also beefing up the 80 GT with a massive 4800 mAh battery capacity.

For cameras, the 80 GT will have a triple camera set up at its rear, namely a 54-megapixel ultra-clear main camera with an f/1.9 aperture, an 8-megapixel ultrawide camera at f/2.2 aperture, and a 2-megapixel macro camera at f/2.4 aperture.

For the front camera, the 80 GT will have a 16-megapixel shooter with an f/2.4 aperture.

The Honor 80 GT will start at RMB 3,299 or around Php 26,287.93 (RMB 1 = Php 7.97).
