The all-new Magic5 Pro got a 152 DXOMARK for its camera test, making it the number one smartphone in the website’s global ranking.

For those unaware, DXOMARK is an independent benchmark and quality-control company that assesses smartphones, lenses, and cameras.

According to DXOMARK’s assessment of the Magic5 Pro, the smartphone provided “excellent image quality across all ranges” and fared well in many of its use-case tests.

DXOMARK also provided a bullet list table of the Magic5 Pro camera’s pros and cons.

Pros and Cons

It also highlighted that the Magic5 Pro offered good results for video as well, with DXOMARK saying it provided “accurate exposure and low noise” with “generally effective” stabilization. It went so far as to call it “the best Android device for recording moving images.”

The Magic5 Pro features a 50 MP primary sensor that has an F1.6 aperture, a 50MP ultrawide camera with an F2.0 aperture, and a 50MP telephoto camera with an F3.0 aperture.

The Magic5 Pro’s screen outperformed the Apple iPhone 14 Pro Max and the newly-released Samsung Galaxy S23 Ultra.

We’re curious to see how the Magic5 Pro holds up with our own testing, but it is promising to see how the phone has seemingly blown the competition out of the water, at least in terms of DXOMARK’s rankings.
