HP’s acquisition of Palm has finally making some progress with the computer giant today announcing the new HP Veer and the HP Pre 3.
The HP Pre 3 is the successor to the Palm Pre 2, just before the acquisition.

The handset supports Adobe Flash 10.1 and can do WiFi tethering with expected release in 2nd quarter of 2011. Most interesting is that the the phone supports dual mode — HSDPA and EV-DO chips on-board.
The HP Veer is like the baby brother of the Pre3 with a 2.6-inch capacitive screen running on a Qualcomm Snapdragon 7230 800MHz processor. Aside from the 8GB internal storage, the rest of the specs are very similar to the HP Pre3.
