Apart from HTC’s U series of smartphones that were released yesterday, they had also brought their mid-range Desire 10 Pro to the country.
The Desire 10 Pro sports a 5.5-inch Full HD IPS display, which is similar to that of the U11. Its front panel is reminiscent of some of the conventional smartphones market today, having quite a handful of bezels on the sides. The 13MP front camera sits on top of the screen, while below we have capacitive navigation buttons (lights up when used).
In hand, the device feels solid and good to hold, thanks to its metal body design. It also offers a good amount of grip.
On the right side, we have the power/lock button as well as the volume rocker. To the left, we have the hybrid SIM tray that can accommodate two nano SIM cards, or a nano SIM card paired with a microSD. It also has this beautiful gold accent running along the edges.
Up top, you will see the lone 3.5mm headset jack.
Underneath the phone, we will see the micro-USB port, microphone, and speaker grille.
The back cover of the Desire 10 Pro is what makes it unique. It has a rubberized coating for good grip, however, it is prone to scuff marks, and cleaning it would take a lot of time. Moreover, the fingerprint scanner is placed just above the HTC logo. On the upper left corner is the 20MP rear camera with an LED flash just below it.
Powering the device is a MediaTek Helio P10 octa-core CPU, 4GB RAM, 64GB of internal storage (up to 2TB via microSD), Android 6.0 Marshmallow w/ HTC Sense, and a 3,000mAh non-removable battery.
