There’s no large-capacity built-in storage so it has to come from a microSD card. The Li-Ion battery is also rated at 1230 mAh. Based on previous handset prices of HTC HD here in the Philippines, it won’t be a surprise if this unit sells for over Php50,000 when it lands here.

  2. Neida Regan says:

I bought my HD2 virtually month in the past, already got lot of apps on it but need extra of course. Still need to to find higher PDF reader, with higher fullscreen mode and multitouch. Planning install android on it however it is going to be now not very soon.

  3. xtian63 says:

ask them for the standard settings for whatever windows mobile 6.5 device they have and it should be the same

  4. imitator101 says:

i already have this phone, but I’m having trouble with the internet settings of the phone.

I asked globe and sun, both of their tech people don’t know how to setup the phone. Really incredible..

    can anyone help?

  5. Dennison Uy says:

I’ve been interested in buying this phone and came across this posting http://pinoylist.net/276.html

    The phone cost around P15K.

The seller is known as nowbuygadgets. Can anyone confirm if this is legit?

  8. E says:

try ko lng ung gravatar.. hehe

  9. Sherwin says:

50K? I think Samsung Omnia has the same feature *cough* cooked rom *cough* except for the Screen.

  10. ted says:

any update on telcos providing this model?

  11. Joe Kano says:

50k is way over the top. The Omnia 2 16GB is selling around 28K many places. & the Omnia 2 has LED, not the older TFT technology. I doubt the HD2 will be over 30-35k if HTC gets their act together

  12. lala says:

I don’t think it will be priced as 50,000 pesos.. Maybe it will be a little lower.. Since I asked one HTC store here

  13. Enyaj says:

Yes 50K is expensive but for me it is worth it since it makes my life a lot easier and a lot more fun. Definitely not for avereage users. Only for fanatics. I currently have the Touch HD but I’m going to buy this as soon as it hits the market!!!

  14. Ann says:

    Me likey!

My HTC TYTN II looks Jurassic next to this baby.

  15. boybawang says:

I have read it somewhere that HTC admitted that their phones are overpriced.

  16. The Teknisyan says:

    50 k for this?!!!

I think I need to reconsider that 35K iphone!!

  17. Young says:

Im tempted to trade in my Touch HD for this… The Snapdragon processor is wicked!

  18. BungeeJump says:

for 50k, i will buy a vios instead.

  19. Darren says:

50K? that’s too much, WTF is HTC thinking?

  20. eithan says:

i’d still prefer N900 than this one.

  21. Anonymous says:

I like the generous screen size. DLNA and 802.11n support will be nicer. But yeah, too expensive for me at least.

  22. Miguel says:

Can’t wait til the Android version!

  23. pabs says:

my 50,000 can go along way…but definitely not on this…I can still use my old reliable 12 year old nokia 3310.

  24. Reel Advice says:

50,000 bucks? Oh my…they should have included a large capacity hard drive to make it more appealing IMHO.
