We’ve been hearing rumors this past month of HTC manufacturing a 5-inch phablet, first reported to be a Windows Phone 8 device. Now another report has surfaced that it will be the next Google Nexus.
The Google “Nexus 5” is said to run Android 4.1.2 – an upraded Jellybean that includes an enhanced Project Butter, new lock screen functionalities, tweaks and bug fixes. It will sport a 5-inch 1080p full HD display, a 12 megapixel camera, up to 64GB of internal storage, 4G LTE, a 2,500 mAh battery, and powered by a quad-core Snapdragon S4 Pro processor. All those specs will be housed in a “super slim” body.
If this is true, the Nexus will complete the trifecta of Android manufacturers with Samsung for the 4-inch smartphones, Asus for the tablet line and HTC for phablets.
