Huawei has announced a new Android phone which is an update to the Honor 6 on their line up.
The Honor 6X has a 5.5-inch 1080p display topped with a 2.5D curved glass. It runs on a home-baked Kirin 655 octa-core processor with the Mali-T830 MP2 GPU accompanying it. It comes with either 3GB or 4GB RAM and 32GB or 64GB of expandable storage. It runs Android 6.0 Marshmallow with EMUI 4.1 and has a 3300mAh battery.
It still has a dual rear camera setup like it’s predecessor with a 12-megapixel PDAF main camera and a 2-megapixel secondary. Based on prior models that have the same high and low pixel setup for a dual rear camera, the secondary sensor is there to help add depth and possible post-processing effects. For selfies, it has an 8-megapixel shooter.
