A launch event from Huawei with a plethora of new products come to a close with the announcement of the MatePad 11 (2023) tablet, Enjoy 60 smartphone, and Freebuds 5 wireless earbuds.
MatePad 11 (2023):
You have probably heard about the MatePad 11 before, however Huawei has decided to update its current offering with a larger 11″ IPS LCD 120Hz display, a Snapdragon 870 chipset with 6/8GB of RAM and 128/256GB of storage and is governed by HarmonyOS 3.1. Battery still comes in at 7250mAh with 22.5W fast-charging.
The MatePad 11 comes in 3 colors, Obsidian Black, Island Blue, Crystal White, and Streamer Purple.
Enjoy 60:
Next on the list is the budget Enjoy 60 smartphone, slated only for China. It sports a huge 6000mAh battery with 22.5W fast-charging, a 6.75-inch TFT LCD with HD+ resolution and a 48MP primary camera. The phone will run on HarmonyOS 3.0, however the chipset used are still kept under wraps.
The Enjoy 60 will be available in 128GB or 256GB storage options and will come in 3 colors, namely Magic Night Black, Ice Crystal Blue and Dawn Gold.
Freebuds 5:
Last, but not the least is the Freebuds 5 wireless earbuds which features a unique in-ear design without the silicone tips that is associated with in-ear pieces today. The earbuds packs features such as L2HC and LDAC codecs that allows for hi-res audio spatial audio (on HarmonyOS 3 devices) as well as active noise cancelation (ANC) and dynamic EQ tuning.
The earbuds comes with LCP dual magnetic drivers and pair via Bluetooth 5.2 with multi-point pairing. The stems can also be used for touch controls, and the Freebuds 5 itself can handle up to 5 hours of listening time with up to 30 combined hours with the charging case. It is also IP54 rated dust and splash resistant.
Prices starts at CNY 2199 or PHP 17,600 for the MatePad 11 (2023), CNY 1299 or PHP 10,400 for the Enjoy 60, and CNY 899 or PHP 7200 for the Freebuds 5.
