Other smartphone manufacturers are starting to get into the stock Android bandwagon as Huawei is already in the works to release the Ascend P6 Google Edition.
According to Kevin Ho, president of the handset product division at Huawei, told Pocket-lint during an interview that the company is already “working with Google to analyse the possibility of bringing out a Huawei Ascend P6 with Google Edition.”
If this pushes through, the Huawei Ascend P6 will be joining the ranks of other Google Edition smartphones namely the Samsung Galaxy S4 and the HTC One which are already on retail on the Google Play Store for $649 and $599 respectively.
Earlier this month, Sony was also rumored to be working on a Google Edition of their Xperia Z but this is yet to be confirmed.
