The last of the three new smartphones from Infinix is the cheapest among the bunch. This is the Infinix Hot 4 Pro — a 5.5-inch Android handset with decent specifications and LTE at a sub-Php6k price tag. Here’s our quick initial impression of the device.
The phone’s display is an HD IPS panel giving it a typical 267ppi pixel density. It’s got wide viewing angles and over saturated colors even though it’s not an OLED panel. A 5MP front-facing camera is located on top of the display and a trio of capacitive buttons below.
The right-hand side has the volume rocker and the power/lock button that’s positioned a bit lower for easy reach. The left is left bare with no ports or buttons.
The top has the 3.5mm headphone jack while the bottom end of the phone houses the micro-USB port and the microphone.
The rear panel of the handset is removable giving access to the SIM card and microSD card slots. We also have the 13MP rear camera with a single LED flash, the circular fingerprint scanner, and the loudspeaker at the back. The back cover comes in various colors with a 3D texture depending on the variant.
What’s powering the handset is a quad-core processor from MediaTek namely the MT6737. It’s got 2GB of RAM and 16GB of expandable storage as well. The Infinix Hot 4 Pro has 4G LTE and a 4000mAh battery which could easily last for two days or longer depending on your usage. It’s running Android 6.0 Marshmallow out of the box skinned with XOS.
The Infinix Hot 4 is yet another option for those who wants a smartphone with large battery capacity to help them last on the road longer. Its plastic build is well-built plus the textured back panel gives it a slight touch of style when placed on the table.
