After countless rumors, Apple’s nearly bezel-less iPhone X is now official!
Coming in Space Gray and SIlver, the iPhone X (pronounced iPhone Ten) is arriving with a 5.8-inch Super Retina OLED display at 2,436 x 1,125 or 458ppi, which is the densest for an iPhone. It also features TrueTone which supports HDR 10, and Dolby Vision.
The iPhone X is the first to sport what Apple calls the Face ID. With the help of the Apple A11 Bionic’s Neural engine and the front camera’s TrueDepth camera system, which includes a flood illuminator, infrared camera, front camera, dot projector, proximity sensor, ambient light sensor, speaker and microphone, an iPhone can track someone’s face even when wearing facial wear or head gear, or even in low-light scenarios.
The Face ID data are enclosed in a secure enclave on the chip and will not be sent to Apple’s servers, and can be used to unlock other apps including Apple Pay.
Animojis also make their debut in the iPhone X. These are new emojis which facial expressions can be controlled with your face. You can record messages that track facial movements to be sent in iMessage.
Similar to the iPhone 8, the iPhone X features dual cameras put out in a vertical layout and still feature the same two 12-megapixel modules at f/1.8 and f/2.4 apertures with the only difference being added Dual OIS functionality. They still have the same camera features such as portrait lighting and support for Augmented Reality. It also features an increased battery life and support for Qi wireless charging.

Erich says:
Apple can command a premium price because their resell value doesn’t fluctuate. Aside from Carriers trade-in programs with quotes that mostly hit around the prices offered by the reseller sites like eBay and Craigslist. Apple has an iPhone Trade-Up program of its own as well, which will net you an Apple gift card for the value of your old iPhone. By the way, Android purist here and I never owned a non-Nexus Android device since the Galaxy Nexus S switching from iPhone 3GS and never looked back since until now.
ross says:
San to say ung specs nya hindi na bago sa mga katungaling phone,
Erich says:
To be honest specs doesn’t make the phone but the user experience. That’s why I only considered Vanilla Android aside from iOS. Anything in between is just bloatware in my opinion. If you tried a Nexus or Pixel you will notice the difference. At the end of the day specs gets outdated but getting timely updates is what makes the phone last.
