The itel S23 40 was originally launched in the first half of 2023 here in the Philippines. Now the company has put out its bigger brother with the itel S23+ 38 with it first being launched in Ethiopia.
The itel S23+ comes with a 6.78-inch FHD+ AMOLED curved display, making it reportedly its first premium curved display smartphone. Moreover, the display comes with Corning Gorilla Glass 5 protection and has a peak brightness of 900 nits.
Underneath, it is reportedly powered by a Unisoc T616 processor. It also has a dual-rear camera setup that is headlined by a 50MP sensor and 2MP depth sensor. At the front, it has a 32MP sensor for selfies.
The phone comes with 8GB of LPDDR4X RAM and up to an extra 8GB of virtual RAM while having 256GB of storage and running on itel OS 13 based on Android 13.
The itel S23+ comes with a 5,000 mAh battery with an 18W charging speed. Other features include an in-display fingerprint sensor, Wi-Fi 5, Bluetooth 5.0, 4G LTE, and NFC.
More so, the itel S23+ comes with GPT AI Assistant by just saying “Hi, Aivana” and the feature of a Dynamic Bar that’s similar to that of Apple’s iPhones Dynamic Island in functionality.
The itel S23+ comes in either Lake Cyan or Elemental Blue. The price of the itel S23+, however, remains unknown as itel has not released any specific details about its price either in Ethiopia or anywhere else.
