On the lookout for an octa-core smartphone but have a tight budget? The UK-based company, Kazam (not the movie with Shaq), has launched the Tornado 2 smartphones with specs competing with the likes of Samsung and HTC.
Under the Tornado 2 range, Kazam has unveiled two models namely: Tornado 2 5.5 and Tornado 2 5.0.
Tornado 2 5.5Â specs:
5.5-inch IPS display @ 1920 x 1080 pixels
1.7GHz Mediatek octa-core processor
2GB RAM
16GB ROM, expandable to 32GB
13MP rear and 5MP front cameras
Bluetooth 4.0, LTE, Wi-Fi, GPS
2500mAh battery
8.5mm thick
Android 4.2
Tornado 2 5.0 specs:
5-inch IPS display @ 1280 x 720 pixels

Do take note, however, that both the devices are only running Android Jelly Bean. There’s no word yet as to whether or not they will be ready for updates.
The Tornado 2 will be available around April or May and will come at around €250 (approx. Php15,000USD 256INR 21,669EUR 243CNY 1,862). These aren’t currently available locally, but if you badly want this octa-core and don’t mind the outdated OS then having it shipped here might be an option.

I’m very much interested sa bezel just like you.
P.S. Pwede ko din po malaman ang sukat ng bezel ng noo nyo?
Charles says:
That’s even more expensive than Cherry Mobile, so why say it cheaper?
LOL says:
pumunta pa ng UK.. Starmobile and Cherry meron na eh. Mas mura pa. Coming soon pa yung sa THL.
Abby says:
Yes, THL is a better alternative. Maganda ang THL T200 (not T100 as Novo 7 Tech plans to release).
THL is 6″ Octa core, dual sim, 2GB RAM, 32MB internal storage, 13MB camera with Sony sensor and others. This is my baby. :)
