Lenovo Legion Phone Duel 2 now official

Lenovo has officially announced their latest gaming smartphone, packing a 6.92-inch 144Hz AMOLED screen, Qualcomm Snapdragon 888 SoC, Octa-Trigger Controls, and Twin Turbo-Fan Cooling, the Lenovo Legion Phone Duel 2.

The Legion Phone Duel 2 succeeds the Legion Phone Duel from last year. Its main features include a 2nd-gen Advanced Technology Architecture (ATA 2.0) for optimized symmetry when playing in gamer preferred landscape mode, Octa-Trigger with Dual HaptiX feedback for a console controller-like experience, pop-up front-facing cameras, a 5,500mAh battery that can be charged via two USB-C ports with support for 90W fast charging, RGB lighting, and passive cooling components with a Vapor Chamber liquid cooling area that is connected to a Twin Turbo-Fan cooling system.

The 6.92-inch AMOLED screen also boasts a 144Hz refresh rate and an AI-powered Pixelworks i6 Processor for AI Display Processing, Always-on HDR, AI-Picture Quality Engine, Auto Adaptive Display, Skin Tone Accuracy, and Dark Noise Suppression. It also has flicker-free DC dimming, smooth brightness control, and TÜV Rheinland-certified.

The Lenovo Legion Phone Duel 2 is expected to be available starting April 2021 in China (called Lenovo Legion Phone 2 Pro in China) and in select markets in Asia Pacific and Europe in May 2021. Availability for North America is to be determined. In Europe, the Legion Phone Duel 2 16GB + 512GB with charging dock is priced at EUR 999PHP 61,544USD 1,049INR 88,900CNY 7,640, while the 12GB + 256GB without charging accessories is at EUR 799PHP 49,223USD 839INR 71,102CNY 6,110.
