Lenovo Legion Y90 full details released, confirms UFS, SSD tech

Lenovo officially unveiled the specifications of its next gaming smartphone thru their Chinese website, the Lenovo Legion Y90 which comes with Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 chipset and Adreno 730 GPU.

The Lenovo Legion Y90 comes with 6.92-inch AMOLED display with 2,460 x 1,080 resolution and peak brightness at 1300 nits. Its display has a max refresh rate of 144 Hz, supports HDR10+, TUV Rheinland certification, and calibrated to Delta E <0.6 for better color accuracy.

The base model starts with 12GB of RAM going up to 16GB and 18GB configuration, all LPDDR5. While the two lower configurations come with 256 GB storage, the top-tier variant packs a dual storage capability of 640GB in total — a 512GB UFS 3.1 plus 128 GB SSD in RAID 0, Lenovo claims.

Lenovo Legion Y90’s is powered up by a 5,600 mAh battery paired with 68W fast charging capability. While its camera hardware has a total of three sensors. The back panel sports two sensors—64 MP main sensor and 13MP ultra-wide sensor—and the front panel has a 16 MP selfie shooter.

The Lenovo Legion Y90 is priced at CNY4,299 (around Php34,900), CNY4,599 (around Php37,400), and CNY5,299 (around Php43,100) for the 12GB/256GB, 16GB/256GB, and 18GB/640GB models, respectively.

Pre-orders are now available in China starting March 10. Global release (including the Philippines for that matter) has not been revealed.
