When it comes to imaging, the PHAB Plus has a 13 megapixel rear shooter with dual-tone LED flash and a 5 megapixel front camera. The front shooter has a wide-angle lens that is good for group selfies and capable of producing crisp photos. The main camera, on the other hand, can capture good photos with vibrant colors. However, it has poor macro capabilities and has a hard time focusing on a subject up close. Exposure is also spotty as it tends to over or under-expose images. Take a look at the samples below.
#gallery-1 { margin: auto; } #gallery-1 .gallery-item { float: left; margin-top: 10px; text-align: center; width: 33%; } #gallery-1 img { border: 2px solid #cfcfcf; } #gallery-1 .gallery-caption { margin-left: 0; } /* see gallery_shortcode() in wp-includes/media.php */
As for in-camera features, it has Action Shot, Smart Reader, Night Mode, HDR, Beautify, and Denoiser. You can also go for Manual but it has poor implementation as you will have to adjust ISO, Exposure, and White Balance inside Settings and not while you’re shooting which leaves you guessing as to what the result would be.
For videos, it can shoot 1080p clips in 30fps. You can also adjust White Balance and use Video Denoiser. Watch the sample below.
Running the software department is Android 5.0.2 Lollipop with VIBE UI. It’s clean and compliments Lollipop but it failed to utilize the device’s large screen – it uses large icons, widgets take a lot of space, no multi-window function, and the home screen and app drawer don’t switch to landscape. One option for users though is to install a launcher that can let you customize the layout and icons.
On the bright side, it doesn’t come with a lot of bloatware. There’s the usual Google goodies, McAfee, PHAB Plus demo app, and Lenovo’s SHAREit and SYNCit. Out of the box you’ll get 24.51GB of usable storage out of the 32GB. As mentioned earlier, it supports microSD cards and USB OTG. Take a look at some of the notable features below:
• Screen Shrink – draw a “C” to shrink the display for one-hand use.
• One Hand Keyboard – the keyboard will shrink and snap to your hand position.
• Floating shortcut – a floating button that gives you quick access to your favorite apps.
• Lift to Answer
• Double Tap to Wake

I have been using this for a year now. And if it still matters (lol), here is my experience.
1. It lags. How I hate when it stutters. Even a simple game like “Crash of Cars” suffer from lag.
2. It drains fast. Like I charge my phone twice a day.
3. No upgrade/update. Just one big update after I purchased it and that’s all.
4. No screen protection. Bought a protection glass anyway.
5. It warms up fast when playing or connecting to data.
6. As a video recorder, it records great images BUT the audio is blown out. Like your watching a good movie but hearing a crap out of it.
Good side.
1. Great screen for browsing and movies.
2. Dolby is superb.
3. Storage is fair enough.
4. Camera is sharp as long as you have steady hands.

Thanks for the info.
Not much of a review but more of a table write-up based on available product brochure.
Better if several usual tests were done and shown here to help would-be buyers decide whether to buy or not to buy this gigantic phone cum tablet device!

Very promising phone at the price but I sold mine due to poor camera. It was close to unusable. Poor exposure and slow.

One of the best reviews i read.. Thank you for including the micro SD support in the expense of its dual sim capability. Could be my next smartphone…. Im just having second thoughts on the camera performance
