Lenovo reveals its K80 with 4GB RAM and 4000mAh battery

It seems like 4GB RAM is slowly becoming the norm when it comes to flagship phablets these days. ASUS got the ball rolling with its ZenFone 2 and Xiaomi’s Mi Note Pro following short after. Now, Lenovo announces its K80 with 4GB RAM and 4000mAh battery.

5.5-inch Full HD display @ 1920 x 1080 resolution
1.2GHz processor
4GB RAM
64GB internal storage
13MP rear camera with OIS
8.5mm thin
Android Lollipop
4000mAh battery
Black, silver, and red
Price: CNY1,799 (approx. Php12.8K)

The K80 will start selling in China beginning April 30. In addition, there will also be a lower-end variant that carries 2GB RAM and 32GB internal storage for CNY1,499 (approx. Php10.6K). Availability for other countries are yet to be disclosed.

Update: Some sites reported the clocking to be 1.8GHz, while some dictate 1.2GHz. We’re still clearing this up.

Yuga, is the lower-end variant(the one with 2gb ram only) also has 4000 mAh battery?
