Lenovo Vibe X gets official launch with Php19,999 price

Initially announced back in November, Lenovo Philippines held the official media launch of the Lenovo Vibe X yesterday evening.

The Vibe X replaces the K900 as the company’s flagship device. However, local reps maintain that though both devices are almost on the same caliber, \ the Vibe X and the K900 caters to different taste and segment of the market.

The Vibe X claims to be one of the slimmest, if not the thinnest, flagship smartphone in the local market at only 6.9mm thin.

Lenovo Vibe X S960 specs:
5.0-inch full HD IPS display @ 1920×1080 pixels, 441ppi
Gorilla Glass 3 Display
Mediatek MTK6589T 1.5GHz quad-core processor
PowerVR SGX544MP GPU
2GB RAM
16GB internal memory
3G/HSPA+
WiFi 802.11 b/g/n
Bluetooth 4.0 with A2DP support
13MP camera w/LED flash
1080p video recording @30fps
5MP front-facing camera
GPS w/ A-GPS
USB OTG support
Li-Po 2,000mAh battery
Android 4.2 Jellybean

While internal storage is limited to only 16GB (11GB usable), Lenovo added USB-OTG support for the Vibe X (there’s no microSD card slot).

The Lenovo Vibe X is now available in stores with a suggested retail price of Php19,999.

No sd card slot = fail

    Bigla laki ulo lenovo ha..

  2. Rouge says:

Seriously walang kakwenta kwentang phone ito.
you can get the same specs on a Cherry Mobile phone for Less than 12K. I got my LG G2 sa hodgadgets store for only 22.3K

  3. Zobel says:

Lenovo, Alcatel and O+ = the holy trinity of morons. Thanks for subsidizing their executives’ rib eye whenever you buy their products.

  4. irv says:

everyone here seems to agree that mediatek = crap.
has anyone tried one? is performance really that bad?

    • wew says:

@abuzalzal hyundai cars ain’t a mediatek when compared to smartphone processors…better use chinese cars hahaha mahal na din ang hyundai ngaun mas mahal pa nga santa fe sa kalaban nito eh.

    • abuzalzal says:

MEDIATEK phones are quite good tbh. More than adequate nga ang chip na ‘to eh even for gamers as it can probably run 95 – 98 percent of all the games in the Playstore smoothly.

    • Phillip says:

My Lenovo P780 uses Mediatek. It’s not crap at all. In fact, it just suits my daily needs. However, I must agree that the price does not justify it.

  5. lebobo says:

wow bitterness to lenovo team haha fuck you all go and resign to you stupid co. napa wow….bsht ako sa price haha

  6. Lenovo Philippines says:

Our sincere apologies for those who were offended with the pricing of our newest phone the Lenovo Vibe X S960.

The management has taken action on this concern as we are now offering the Lenovo Vibe X S960 for a special discounted price of P9,000 pesos only for the all commenters on this page.

Provided however that you insert the Lenovo Vibe X S960 in your asses and lick it afterwards. If you’re able to eat the phone then its yours for free.

    Thank you from Lenovo Philippines.

Gaya-gaya kay Lenovo Sales Rep. Utot mo!

  7. mang kanor says:

  8. Real Gamer says:

I wonder what’s wrong with Lenovo these days? It seems they got so confident that they think people will easily trust their brand regardless of the price.

Go home, Lenovo. You’re drunk. Selling your expensive ThinkPad laptops is a different game compared to selling your expensive smartphones. People are a hell lot wiser nowadays when it comes into buying a new smartphone.

  9. evollove says:

I remember someone saying that Lenovo prices their phones justifiably in another article (the O+ Imagine article to be precise). Here’s your counter-argument. Suck on it Lenovo!

  10. Wraith says:

    Kawawa naman mga bibili nito.

  11. Lenovo Sales Rep says:

    Fuck you all!

  12. meh says:

20k and mediatek with no LTE. No way

  13. evollove says:

This is the wrong phone Lenovo! Kung co-flagship ng K900 sana, e di yung K910 na Snapdragon 800! May “different taste and segment of the market” pa kayong nalalaman. Bullshit! Only dumbasses would buy this phone.

  14. abuzalzal says:

This phone has way too many ”Fail” written all over it, aside from the ludicrous price, we have the absence of LTE, expandable memory and insufficient battery…Haven’t they learned from the the K900 travesty?

  15. jujuju says:

  16. june says:

This is too much! Very expensive tapos mediatek pa ang gamit.

  17. parang says:

baka may bibili? dazed and confused lang bibili nito!

  18. abuzalzal says:

Hahaha parang tanga lang ang Lenovo, Snapdragon800 na ang Php20k territory, Z Ultra mas mura (Php19++k), Nexus 5 around Php20k +, plus we have the cheaper Snapdragon 600 devices like the G Pro for Php17k ++
