LG G4 owners have been reporting an issue for months now about their smartphone failing to boot up over and over again, thus called “boot loop”. LG has recently acknowledged the issue and released a statement, offering to repair the affected smartphones.
According to LG’s statement as received by Android Authority, the booting issue with the LG G4 smartphone “has now been identified as resulting from a loose contact between components.” In other words, the boot loop issue is a hardware problem.
LG advises customers who are experiencing the issues to contact their local carrier where the G4 was purchased or a nearby LG Service Center for repair under full warranty. Customers who purchased their LG G4 from non-carrier retailers should also contact an LG Service Center.

dapat palitan nila ng unit, ang mahal ng pagkabili ko tapos wala pang 1 year boot loop na. 1 year and 2 months na nastock sa bahay yung g4 ko. wala pa bang aksyon?
Deo Zumang says:
With or without warranty, LG MUST repair for FREE every single G4 with the said problem, NO QUESTIONS ASK as a sign of pro-active commitment to its customers to live to its “Life is good!” corporate motto!!!
Chris says:
My LG G4 has been rebooting on it’s own since yesterday, pero kapag nakaconnect sa charger bumukas naman sya, pero kapag binunot ko sa charger at nagclick ako ng any icon, bigla na namang magshushutdown kahut 100% charged ako :(
KB says:
Kawawa consumers, they should do something to help consumers. Defective yung product. I wish the main manufacturer of LG would coordinate with LG Philippines to recall the defective products. Malaking company pa naman sila.
Joan Go says:

Deo says:
just call the lg in pasig at nasa 14k daw ang cost ng motherboard replacement?.. tama ba yun.. :/
ads says:
Wangiztah says:
My G4 died on me today while just browsing! taena pangalawa ko na to! problema out of warranty na ngayon di tulad nung first time. lugi naman consumers neto. sa ibang bansa full replacement, hindi lang board tapos covered pa within 2 years. hassle pagkalayo-layo pa ng service center. to think na sa panahon ngayon mahirap na walang phone.
edward says:
Mildred says:
can’t we do anything about this? last monday my LG G4 suddenly froze while scrolling in my FB newsfeed. I went to LG service center and they just offered me 70% discount for replacement of the board i told them that i am not spending another money coz there is no guarantee that it’ll last. some user have reported to encounter the same after replacing the board so think twice if you gonna pay up 4k…
edward says:
free n dapat yan kasi sa kanila may mali. hardware problem.
ernani pamplina says:
chris says:
Brought my phone to a service center..since out of warranty na xa..i have to pay the mother board replacement..in the US they replace the unit..unfortunately we’re in the Phils :/
Rjay chua says:
