Apple released the iPhone SE which is basically a 6S squeezed into a 5S body. Although some people like the idea of a more affordable iPhone, some didn’t and found it unimpressive. One of them is LG CEO Cho Ju-no that said it is a “product with same-old technology and features”.
Cho was speaking at an opening of the LG G5 and Friends hands-on event in South Korea where concerns have been brought up that the new iPhone might present itself as a threat to their company in its own segment. The CEO responded and said that “rolling out a product with the same-old technology and features is not LG’s way.”
He also added that LG is not all about the rankings but instead, concentrates on making the consumers happy with different options to choose from — referring to LG G5 and its companions.
“LG Electronics does not care seriously about rankings, at the moment, as we are focused on making sure the new device provides consumers a variety of options to have fun,” – LG CEO Cho Ju-no
What do you think? Do you agree with LG’s CEO about the iPhone SE? Moreover, are you excited with the arrival of the G5 (on April 28) and Friends?

Apple is not all about coming out with a new technology. Apple has a very good customer service.
How about LG’s customer services?
Ex-Alodian Knight says:
It’s tedious since you have to learn hanggeul to actually understand an LG customer service rep.
But myphone customer service is superb.

I like how LG’s CEO thinks – giving value to the consumers, as opposed to Samsung’s CEO – more profit, eat Apple’s market.
