The LG G7 ThinQ now retails in the Philippines for Php29,990, ~30% cheaper than the Php42,990 price tag it had when it was released locally last June. It also comes with a premium case, an LG X BTS smart case, and an LG Tone Infinim Bluetooth Headset as freebies. You may check our review for more details and our key observations.
Does this sudden huge price drop, as well as the fact that its SM Megamall Cyberzone concept store had closed, mean that LG’s mobile division may be exiting the country soon? Only time can tell.
hi Carl, can you please tell us kung saang MemoXpress branch nyo nakitang naka-sale ang LG G7? Dito kasi sa branch sa SM San Lazaro out of stock na daw eh
Just saw one in Rob Ermita
Bought an LG G3 when it came out… exactly after 1 year, nagkaron ng crack lines yung top and bottom kahit sobrang ingat (this was a known issue with G3 by the way). Tumawag ako sa kanila tinatanong ko baka pwede naman nila palitan case kasi sobrang ingat talaga tapos nagkaganun. Ayaw nila at sinisingil nila ko kahit na known issue talaga siya.
Never bought an LG phone after that… Tama yung sabi sa previous comment – This is their fate.
t@***na nila!
LG = losing ground or low grade compared to other brands such as Xiaomi, 1+, and Huawei. Camera, low memory, price/performance ratio and slow updates. Therefore, not as good.
Maganda na rin ang price for a current flagship device, plus sulit na rin ang freebies:
– slim case;
– smart case;
– LG wirelsess charger; and,
– LG Tone Infinim (wireless Harman/Kardon bluetooth headset).
Don’t fall for this sale trap. Kahit ang g5 at g6 ay meron pa ring bootloop issues. Buy this g7 and chances are wala nang tech support in a few years dahil umaalis na sila sa pinas.
Would be great if they discounted it at least a couple of weeks ago.
Most normal people would like to buy a new phone before the family gatherings in Christmas and not after it.
I am one of many victims of lg g4’s bootloop. Sent to authorised service center but still not fixed. This is their fate.
It’s not just SM Megamall, all LG Concept Stores are close now, they’ve all pulled out of the country due to weak sales.
gawd mahal pa rin considering 16k pesos 128gb from nova 3i (kahit mediocre lang yung ibang specs)!
LG really looks like it’s having a hard time breaking through the crowded smartphone market. Their phones are not selling well at all. Too bad as their phones got the best audio quality…
Learn how to compute, that’s not 40%
Thanks for pointing it out. It was a typo and we’ve already corrected it. :)
you don’t need to be harsh just by correcting someone’s mistake. you may be educated yet nit well mannered!
