  1. Too big…

    • That’s what she said.

    • it fine still sexy phone @just 9.4mm thickness. imagine 3,140mAh VERY BIG BATTERY !
you can enjoy a lot internet surfing .
this phone is far better than PLASTIC CHEAP NOTE2.

  2. LG phones are great and all but it suffers from the lack of software updates. LG is notorious for taking eons to push updates for their phones.

  3. this is Bahamut in smartphone form

    • then Xperia Z is “Bahamut Zero”

  4. looks a lot like the Galaxy Note II. Hmmm… law suit?

    • Koreans don’t sue each other. Couldn’t come up with an original idea even if they could Have all the kimchi in the world.
      .

    • LG was the first Korean to made A FULLY Capacitive TOUCHSCREEN SMARTPHONE!

    • @ suigeneris
ITS SEEMS YOU ARE ASKING WHY KOREANS ALMOST LOOK THE SAME FACES?

SAMSUNG , LG & PANTECH DOING FRIENDLY BUSINESS COMPETITIONS !

ALSO KINDLY SEARCH PAST LG PHONES HOW IT LOOKS LIKE BEFORE….IN MOST KOREAN MARKET…

I LOVE ALL KOREAN BASES PHONES!

  5. 5-inch iPhone please

    • I second that!!

  6. Why add a physical button ala GNote II? The original Optimus G was an understated looker with 3 full touch buttons. This is LG’s counter against Sammy’s domination, but it sadly falls short except in the brawn department. And the Korean market’s 2nd place will still be filled by Pantech.

Just look at their phablet’s specs (maximum 2 TB MicroSDXC? Are you high on crack or what??)

Too bad we only get their phones in the gray market.

    • But hey, I’m probably just nitpicking ’cause I wouldn’t be able to afford it. My MSM8255-powered Xperia is jealous of these S4 Kraits in the market.

  7. Great specs and huge battery. Probably around 30k when it’s released.

  8. ABSOLUTELY THE BEST SMARTPHONE RIGHT NOW IN THE WORLD!

LOOKS SO SEXY ELEGANT GLASS FRONT & BACK.
THANK YOU ITS MADE BY LG ELECTRONICS….

    LOVE IT!

    • Elegant?? Really??
The back itself is ugly and the front is Note 2 looks!! hahaha
the specs is a WOW but the design still reigns by Xperia Z

    • @red medyo sarcastic dating mo which is not needed. Kanya kanyang preference lang yan. Kung maganda para sa kanya yung design, then respeto na lang.

    • tama si wala! red? bka pink ka? haha

    • @red. I personally admit na mas maganda pa to kesa phone ko. I like the
premium design better than s3. Napaka sophesticated and walang kalaban pagdating sa power at performance.

By the way Xperia Z has POOR13 mp CAMERA disappointing performance.
POOR LOUDSPEAKER. BORING UI. POOR BATTERY.
According to TWO GIANT TECH.REVIEW SITES
      namely GsmArena and PhoneArena.

    • @ red YES IT’S ELEGANT PHONE.

Xperia Z IS NOTHING compared to G PRO.

      Design is a personal choice!
      for me G PRO WON!
MORE ELEGANT ROUND CORNER SOLID & FRIENDLY TO HANDLE!

Xperia Z has WEAKER Battery 2,330 mAh only!
      NON-REMOVABLE! SUCK!

G PRO has 3,140 mAh LONG LASTING & REMOVABLE battery ! impressive

      Xperia Z uses the OLDER
      Qualcomm MDM9215M / APQ8064
      Quad-core 1.5 GHz Krait Adreno 320

G PRO uses the NEWEST Qualcomm Snapdragon 600 Krait 1.7GHz quad-core
      Adreno 320 GPU

      WANT MORE?

  9. Here’s a great idea… LG Phil announces a coming-our party for the G Pro at 25% off. So, on April blah blah blah from 10am to 3pm all LG stores will be open to sell the G Pro.

What they don’t announce is that only 4 maybe 5 units per store will be available for sale.

As Yogi Berra said, it’s deja vu all over again.

  10. nah, LG is not good imo.. hehe

anyway, we are giving away a bn nokia 206! just click my name.

    • LG has finally joined the list of companies offering a smartphone with a Full HD 1920 x 1080 pixel resolution display.
The LG Optimus G Pro will first be available for the Korean market.
It has a large 5.5-inch IPS display in a 150.2 x 76.1 mm body. The company is one of the first with a camera with a 13 megapixels resolution. More megapixels does not guarantee better photos, but it confirms that the 1.7 GHz quad-core processor on the Qualcomm Snapdragon 600 chipset is capable of processing large files.

LG has included something we haven’t seen before. And that is Dual Recording and Virtual Reality Panorama. We are not sure about how useful video recording with the front and back camera simultaneously will be, but LG says it is a “unique picture-in-picture experience”.
LG has developed a new UX feature which are developed for smartphones with large displays.

The 3140 mAh battery is one of the most powerful we have seen in a smartphone to this date. The battery is REMOVABLE removable and it can be charged wirelessly.

      LG Optimus G Pro highlights

      Size: 150.2 x 76.1 x 9.4 mm
