LG Stylus 3 now in PH, priced

LG may be gearing up for its local launch of their flagship G6 by this or maybe next month, but that doesn’t stop the Korean Giant from releasing other devices in the country such as the new Stylus 3.

The Stylus 3 is a 5.7-inch smartphone equipped with a passive stylus with an improved writing experience courtesy of its 1.8mm diameter fiber-tip. It’ll also have a fingerprint scanner and enhanced UX with Pen Pop 2.0 and more dedicated apps meant to be used for the smartphone’s pen.

LG Stylus 3 specs:
5.7-inch IPS LCD In-cell @ 1280 x 720 pixels, 258ppi
1.5GHz MediaTek MT6750 octa-core processor
3GB LPDDR3 RAM
16GB 32GB internal storage
Expandable via microSD, up to 2TB
13-megapixel rear autofocus camera w/ LED flash
8-megapixel front camera
4G LTE
Wi-Fi 802.11b/g/n
Bluetooth 4.2
GPS w/ A-GPS
FM Radio
Fingerprint scanner
3,200mAh removable battery
Android 7.0 Nougat
155.6 x 79.8 x 7.4 mm
149 g

We happened to spot the newest device at a MemoXpress store sporting a Php12,990 price tag.

Author’s note: An earlier report stated that the Stylus 3 only had 16GB of internal storage. As rechecked, the device with an LG MD400K model bears 32GB of internal memory.

Sales rep from Memo Express LG Concept Kiosk said that the 32GB is 16Gb internal plus the 16Gb free SD card.

Photos in daylight are average. Photos taken at night or in dark places lack detail and are noisy. I have another Android, an Oppo A39. The Oppo’s photos are better.

hi Mel. how about battery capacity. Anu mas ok for gaming, LG stylus 3 or the Oppo A 39? thanks!

    • Avatar for Mel Mel says:

as far as batery life is concerned, the LG is better. aside from having a slightly bigger battery, i noticed tht the LG’s battery does not drain as fast as the Oppo’s in spite of the LG having a larger screeen. with regards to gaming, i really can’t give an opinion because i don’t play games on my phones.

Sir, How about the screen resolution?

    • Avatar for mel mel says:

screen resolution? very legible. if you plan to surf, do FB and stuff like that, the phone’s screen is more than sufficient. i use the phone to surf a lot. then again, that may be just me. i would suggest that you look at the screeen of an actual unit at a store that carries it and judge for yourself.

I just got an LG Stylus 3. Model number is LG-M400DK. Onboard storage is only 16GB, not 32GB.

  5. Avatar for jeh jeh says:

that’s a better one then than the one released here in Kuwait. Kasi yung release dito 2GB / 16 GB.

why cant LG produce a phone with a stylus similar to galaxy note? if you are marketing a stylus phone, it should look like a tip of a pencil rather an eraser.
