Following the announcement 367 made by Apple about removing Maya as a payment method, Maya has given a response towards the issue.
Apple has announced that Maya would no longer be available as a payment method on August 16. A representative from Maya has reached out to us in regards to Apple removing Maya as a mode of payment.
They have stated that users can use Maya for Apple services by using Maya’s virtual card option or physical Maya card. This can be seen in the ‘Cards’ section of the Maya app.
This means that paying using a Maya mobile number would be unavailable, but Maya’s virtual card option can be applied.
Maya users may change the payment method of their Apple ID from their Maya phone number to their virtual or physical card number.
This can also be used at over 80 million vendors worldwide.

A few months ago Netflix also stopped accepting Maya.

Maya has poor customer service.

I agree.
putomaya says:
asan yung response ni Maya?
Rich says:
I was expecting the “response” will give the reason of the change. The alternative to use the virtual card option is not “responding” to what happened. 🙄
