MediaTek has just revealed that it will soon be launching its latest flagship chipset, the Dimensity 9200+.
The company took to Weibo to announce that it will be launching on May 10 in an upcoming event.
Although no details have been put out as of now, we can most likely expect that it will be a slightly more powerful version of the Dimensity 9200.
It is currently rumored to feature one Cortex-X3 core, three Cortex-A715 cores, and four Cortex-A510 cores with it being expected to be an overclocked version with a higher core frequency.
It’s also said to be based on TSMC’s 2nd Gen 4nm process with its graphics unit being the Mali-G715 Immortalis MC11 GPU.
According to Digital Chat Station on Weibo, on paper, the Dimensity 9200+ should be more powerful than Qualcomm’s current flagship Snapdragon 8 Gen 2.
The Dimensity 9200+ Geekbench v6 results showed that it had scored 2,121 on single-core and 5,655 on multi-core, making it the highest score on a mobile CPU to date.
