Meizu, a Chinese smartphone manufacturer, has launched a new, ‘A’ series of smartphones, with A5 as its first member to be made available.
The new Meizu A5 sports a 5-inch HD display with 1280 x 720 resolution. When it comes to its shooting capabilities, the new device offers an 8MP rear camera and a 5MP front facing. Powering it is a Mediatek’s MT6737 SoC, Mali-T720 GPU, 2GB RAM, 16GB storage (which can be expanded with microSD support), and 3,060mAh battery.
However, Meizu hasn’t mentioned what type of Android operating system the device is running on. On the connectivity aspect, the device offers 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi 802.11 a/b/g/n, and Bluetooth 4.1.
The new Meizu A5 is available in China and is priced at ¥699.00. The new device comes in three different colors: black, gold, and silver.
