I tried to check this on Nokia Store, they had some display, but upon asking if they have a demo unit to test, they provide different model but same OS windows 8.1, then they’ll just telling you that features on that phone and on the one they provide are the same since it contains same OS… so cant really test the actual phone. Not Good. From Davao

  2. jay says:

anyone here who owns a 535 and who are experiencing the touch issues brought up by a lot of owners in other countries even if microsoft says it was supposedly resolved with the latest software update.

  3. henny says:

  4. JJ says:

Bought one yesterday at 6,120 in SM Mega. No problems encountered so far. Phone’s smooth. Camera’s damn good.

    • Antonio says:

Im about to buy this one, pero nang nabasa ko yung blog parang hesitant akong bumili. The good is they’ll fix it thru software update which is nice. What are those screen magnifier??

    • JJ says:

Meron.

    • Antonio says:

No touch issue/s?? I’ve read it on the net they had sort of bugs daw.

    • Antonio says:

Ang mahal sa Lazada. More than 8k ang presyo.

  5. Prodigy says:

Which would be a better choice asus zenfone 5 or microsoft lumia 535? Please help me choose.

    • adviser says:

i am in favor of lumia 535. Windows 8.1 will be updated to 10 later on. swerte ang magmamana ng lumia phone tulad ng lumia 535. No lags. pero kung attached ka sa android apps, mahirap magdecide…check the apps available in windows market… btw, i own a lumia 625 and iphone 4, ditched my LG Prada 3.0 to my brother because he likes android… im not an app addict. i find lumia phone more intuitive… android is for apps, customization but with unwanted lags specially for mid-range and budget handsets… my iphone 4 is for show(humble status symbol)… i’m not a tech chaser… So research well… but I guess lumia 535 wins over zenfone 5 in terms of price- “bang for the buck!” i am aiming for lumia 930 or 830…

    • james says:

mate if i were you will surely go for lumia..right now i’m using lumia 630 and had no any problems with it aside from i cannot access my prefer radio apps and a religious app,,,its very fast and easy to use..i bought it for 8,600 pesos but it lacks front cam and only 512mb ram,but its still fast to use and battery life is quite good.
wish to sell my lumia 630 and buy that one 535, but i need my apps so will buy an android instead,,and don’t buy asus zen 5 because the lcd of zenfone is fragile and very expensive to replace as much as buying a new fone…

  7. iamthor says:

Called nokia store. Wla pa daw sa stores nila. But they promised this month darating.

  8. Stef Duque says:

    Hi there,

Just wanted to ask. Is this internally a Nokia?

I am just guessing that the branding is just superficial Microsoft but inside it’s still a Nokia?

    Thanks!

  9. Milhouse says:

Don’t get your hopes up na this will be immediately available. I went to two Nokia Stores last week to purchase a Nokia 730 which has been officially released in the country for nearly two months but the gadget are not yet available. Ugh.

Finally find one (in my preferred color) in an online store after weeks of searching.

    • Milbert says:

5″ phones are just too big for my pocket. Not that they don’t fit, it’s just that it’s more convenient if it’s a smaller phone.

    • SpiderWak says:

      hmmn.. may paparating..

  11. Jay says:

Great news. Now just tell us where we can buy these Lumia phones or if they are really available for purchase. Been searching for the Lumia 830 for weeks now and still haven’t been able to find a single unit for sale.

    • ray says:

same here, been searching for a nokia 830 here in CDO. Been to all stores that I know, wala talaga.

    • abusalsal says:

    • Carl Lamiel says:

      Try the Nokia stores.

  12. snow says:

Pricing is a very welcome development. I never thought Lumia phones could be offered at this price level. Way to go Microsoft/Nokia!!!!

    • mj says:

      Microsoft nalang ngayon haha

  13. henry says:

  14. henry says:

bibili ako nyan…balak ko ng mag windows phone tlga…at buti nalang nalaunch na to, can’t wait to have this phone, MATIBAY PA

  15. sqward says:

    wow d best budget wp.
may update din ba to sa windows 10 next year?

  16. Easy E says:

reviewhin na yan. Compare against cherry alpha.

    • Josh says:

Thanks! If that’s the case, best would be this new Lumia.

    • bopols says:

Denim update is for Lumia Devices only…

    • Josh says:

  17. bongbong says:

sir can you enlighten us regarding the o.s of this phone. lalo na sa app store nito. balak ko kaidng iregalo sa ermat ko.

    • Dennis says:

Overall user experience is great. I have a transformer T100 and a Dell XPS both running Windows 8.1 so swak na swak sa sync ng data. But great for everyday use and the metro view is very useful. No need for menus. Value for money, i go for lumia kesa sa CM

    • diego delos santos says:

hello sir bongbong. ok ung lumia. i own a 1520 and my wife the 1320. so far no problem and ang bilis nya. matibay and im planning to buy my 10 yr old daughter.the downside is ung mga games and apps konti pa lang compared sa android.mas ginagamit ng anak ko ang s4 ko kasi nga sa apps and games. but im sure mahahabol ng microsoft ang android.its just a matter of time.

    • anon says:

Saka windows phone 8 devices will be updated (DAW) to windows 10. Sabi ng MSFT. Daw.

    • Carl Lamiel says:

Windows 8.1 Phone OS is a mobile operating system designed by Microsoft in an attempt to compete with Google’s Android and Apple’s iOS. The user interface is minimal and is composed of interactive and static tiles of different applications. It’s very fluid that it’s said that it can run smoothly without any lag even on a 512MB phone.

As for the app store, it’s behind the two more popular ones but it’s slowly getting there.

  18. tanongnijuan says:

Hmmmm… ask lng.. thnks..

    • jokab says:

@pekto – nobody likes a mr know it all.

    • hoping says:

Nokia store daw babagsak ang microsoft phone n to.. natanung ko un last month pa.

    • sagotkayjuan says:

I saw this Microsoft Lumia 535 dummy units (non functional) on display sa Anson’s Cash and Carry Mall last Sunday. Wala pa silang price as of last Sunday.

This phone was together with the other Nokia phones. So I suppose mabibili siya wherever there are Nokia phones.

    • Pekto says:

@jokab – Clarification lang po Microsoft does not OWN Nokia. Mobile Division lang ang nasa kanila. Please check your facts. facts you

    • jokab says:

Microsoft owns Nokia eh. so dapat available sya sa nokia stores.

  19. jokab says:
