Do not underestimate the power of stock android.

  2. Marcus says:

I’ll prefer this over the zenfone 3 counterpart

    • z2xperiauser says:

that quad core 1.0ghz processor is anemic at best. it will be bogged down by most apps which mostly needs powerful single/dual core than many weak ones. this moto e3 power is a total waste of money. asus zenfone 3 max will run circles around this device even with its so called bloatware (apps which can be uninstalled).

    • SIXFOUR says:

      the E3 Power also:
      1. runs on Pure Android, ZF3Max have too much bloatware
      2. can do rapid charging
      3. has water repellent nano coating
      4. battery is user removable

While I somewhat agree that the ZF3Max has somewhat better specs on paper, the 2k difference plus the features the Moto has over the ZF3Max, I’d say the gap in “value” of both phones aren’t that big.

If you ask me, I’d rather get the original ZFMax than the ZF3Max. The latter loses Corning Gorilla Glass 4, no laser autofocus, smaller screen, smaller battery.

    • Primus says:

The only 2 reasons i can think of that someone will choose E3 power over ZF3 Max is 1.) if they are really cash-strapped and 2k makes a lot of difference for them 2.) they are more comfortable flaunting a Moto brand in public over an ASUS branded phone.

Otherwise it makes no sense to get Moto over ASUS. For just 2K more you get more RAM (3gb vs 2gb), more megapixel (13mp vs 8mp), better battery (4100mAh vs 3500mAh), fingerprint scanner, better build, USB OTG, powerban function etc.
