Lenovo-backed Motorola’s 2017 lineup of smartphones have been revealed in a presentation post and shows a lot of promise from the entry-level up to the flagship lines.
According to a tip sent to renowned leaks source Evan Blass, Moto has categorized the new smartphones by their alphabetical names, and are said to cater to different market segments with unique features in tow. The C line of smartphones, for example, will bear all the essentials — the Moto C is an entry-level smartphone that will bear 4G capabilities, while the C Plus packs in a 4000mAh battery.
The new E series, on the other hand, continues the tradition of bearing better power as they are geared toward those who need long-lasting power. Besides a redesigned device profile, the E Plus is touted to sport a 5000mAh battery.
Moto will also update its mid-range G series: The this year’s G5S smartphone will feature a 5.2-inch display in a full metal body, while the G5S Plus is one of the first to feature the company’s first dual rear cameras.
Meanwhile, the new X smartphone, which will aptly be called the X4, will sport a SmartCam coupled with 5.2″ Full HD display, and 3D glass. It touts beauty in metal and glass and features up to 3x carrier aggregation as well as an IP68 water resistance, Turbo Charging, Always-On voice and AI integration. There will also be dual rear cameras coupled with a dual LED Flash in this video.
These new Moto phones are nearing their official launch, and we’ll keep tabs as we get more updates. Stay tuned.
