HMD Global’s next entry-level smartphone will be marketed as the Nokia 1 and may probably launch as part of Google’s Android Go program in March this year.
As you may remember, Android Go is aimed at bringing smartphones to emerging markets which has a lightweight version of Android that is optimized in key areas to run a better software experince on lesser hardware. Android Go also comes with lightweight apps like Files Go and Google Maps Go, which are able to function in areas with spotty or no internet connection. Eldar Murtazin of Mobile-Review who was once popular for Nokia leaks says that Nokia is planning to introduce Nokia 1 which is expected to feature a 5-inch IPS HD LCD display, 8GB internal storage and 1GB of RAM that should come in somewhere between Php5k~Php6k.
Year 2018, 8GB inyernal storage, 1GB memory, 5-6k price?
LOL! Nokia HMD, where have you been?
you are not the target customer of this nokia. there are other nokia phones available that has higher specs.
Then what’s the target customer of this 8gb internal 1gb ram device? Toddlers who play casual games?
