Nothing Phone (1) Lite is rumored to be in the works

Nothing Phone (1) dubbed as the ‘most hyped phone of the year’ was released last month and it already faced some issues like the green tint on the phone’s display and some dead pixels around its selfie shooter. Now, it has been rumored that Nothing is currently working on a Lite version of Nothing Phone (1).

Based on the rumors, the Nothing Phone (1) Lite will sport almost the same specs as the Nothing Phone (1) but this time with only a plain glass back, which means no LED glyph interface and no wireless charging. Still, the Lite version is said to support 33W of charging and would be shipped out with a 42W charger inside its box.

Just to be clear on this one, Nothing has already denied the existence of this so-called ‘Lite’ version but the rumors have been persistent based on the mobile indian. In terms of pricing, the Lite version is rumored to be priced at around INR 24,999 (USD 316 or PHP 17,625) in India with a 6GB RAM and 128GB storage configuration. Compared to the current Nothing Phone (1) is priced at PHP 27,990 for the 8GB + 128GB variant while the 8GB + 256GB model costs PHP 29,990.
