The One UI 6.1 rollout continues, and is now available to more Samsung devices 73.
The software rollout began last March, reaching 9 million users and is slated to go further. The software update is now available for the following devices:
- Galaxy S22 series
- Galaxy S21 series
- Galaxy Z Flip4
- Galaxy Z Flip3
- Galaxy Z Fold4
- Galaxy Z Fold3
Samsung announced that the rollout is currently limited to South Korea this week. However, readers should take comfort in how their updates reach global markets rather quickly.
If you own any of the devices above, you should expect to have an update for One UI 6.1 soon.
Samsung’s Galaxy S22 models, including the Fold4, and Flip 4 are expected to receive Galaxy AI features. These integrations were introduced to the S24 series earlier in January.
The tech giant is aiming to have over 100 million devices equipped with Galaxy AI by the end of 2024. This is inclusive of Circle to Search support in the Galaxy S21 lineup.
The Flip3 is also getting support for AI-generated wallpapers, website and notes summaries, auto-templates in Samsung Notes, live language translation, image editing suggestions, AI-powered generative editing, Interpreter Mode, and voice transcription in Voice Recorder.
This is a big leap for rollout standards, considering that Samsung is also working on the upcoming Galaxy Z Fold6 and Z Flip6 launches.
A few months ago, it was up in the air whether or not Samsung would provide the One UI 6.1 rollout for earlier devices past the S23 series. Now, it’s looking like the company is willing to work on rolling them out so long as the device could support it.
