OPPO has just launched its newest budget-to-mid-range smartphone, the OPPO A78 5G.
The OPPO A78 5G, which was launched in Malaysia on January 7, features a 6.56-inch LCD display with an HD+ resolution (1612 x 720) and 90 Hz refresh rate, the MediaTek Dimensity 700, and a 50 MP dual-camera system.
The OPPO A78 5G adopts a distinct rear camera design, with the two 50 MP cameras being placed on a glossy, circular plane (as seen below). The front of the device, however, has a more traditional tear-drop notch setup.
The A78 5G will have 5G connectivity, dual-stereo speakers, 8GB of RAM (can be extended to 16GB) and 128GB of storage, and a 5,000 mAh battery with support for 33W wired charging.
Surprisingly, the A78 5G also offers microSD support and an IP54 water and dust resistance certification.
No word has been released yet on the device’s official price.
